First off, big congrats to my affiliate and supporter, Maestro, who was a featured producer on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III (he's the guy with the pink collar). Secondly, he posted some info on his site about his studio session with The Game. I was not aware his upcoming album would be called The Red Album. Here's what Maestro had to say:
"The Game was in Atl recording and selecting tracks for his upcoming release 'The Red Album.' He picked new tracks I played AND already had some loaded and ready to go! Despite the Grammy and plaques its still a great feeling when I walk into a session and get love from the room; it seemed like all of Black Wall Street had heard my tracks and was saying my tag back to me! Other member's of Atlanta's production elite made appearances too; I heard crack from The Bizness, Drumma Boy, Hit Boy, Eric Sermon, and newcomer Rico Law, with engineer Ralph Cacciurri presiding on the SSL. The Red Album is gonna be a problem. Keep your fingers crossed...crossed tight...tighter than Wayne's pants ;) "

Yeah, I understand. I still get frustrated when I think about what and where he could BE if he switched up his style just a bit.
But, yo, his verse on that Busta track Watch How You Talk was ill. His voice was dope too. Sounded like a mix of his drunk and nas voice but a tad bit deeper. I'm looking forward to him using it more.

well in the moneywise sense it wasnt a dumb move, because 50cent generates alot more sales than game does.
and thats how dre thinks. who sells more,... 50 or game. and thats how the decision was made to drop game.
why do you think dre be having this ugly trailerpark trash rapper who has a nasal voice named eminem, on aftermath?..... because he sells shytloads of units.
dre is a businessman, and his aim is obviously to make the biggest profit possible.
because of the 50/game feud, 50 wouldve left aftermath if dre didnt drop game, so thats how it came about.

Just some good old fashioned gangsta shit would be good, a little bit of social awareness, more music to feel gangsta to without all of the dissin (mental visual). No "Camera Phone" tracks, if anything "Touchdown" had a good sound to it but no holding on the words like he rapped.

I really expected Dj Quik to show up on a track on "Doctor's Advocate," because they collaborated for Dj Quik's "Trauma" album, which was around the general time-frame. I would like to see that happen sometime. I think another Quik/Game collabo would be cool.

He did "additional production" on "Dope Boys" if that counts. But yeah I'm waiting on a REAL Game / Quik collabo.

Well yeah, get rid of Wayne on it and replace him with someone else of course, but that isn't going to happen. The end tribute part to 2Pac's "To Live and Die In LA" was cool though.

That songs alright, but it aint album material. "Money" and "Dope Boyz" are 2 dope songs aswell, but i like "Money" more. He def shouldnt fuck around on this album and get producers from all over the place and go buck. He should get some Dre and Quik on this one for sure!!!

i think its a dope name personally. but itll have to be dope as FUCK to be up there with jay, metallica, the beatles, etc... of course it wont actually be on that level, but he needs to atleast stay as consistent as he's been up to this point. Take his time with this one.

The Red Album sounds pretty bad ass, only because we all know Game was blood, all Jay-Z talk aside.
But anyways, I am hoping that Game steps it up and makes a classic album.
To me, the album would almost be a classic if it consisted of the following producers (along with Game bringing his A-Game in lyricism):
Scott Storch (Let us Live was ill, and Storch and Game seem to have that chemistry)
Timbaland (the only club banger track they done has been classic. GAME USE TIMBALAND FOR YOUR CLUB BANGERS!)
Cool & Dre (More My Life and Hate it or Love it BIG DREAMS style tracks)
Kanye West (As long as its not like Wouldn't Get Far haha)
and obviously Dr. Dre, but thats only a dream at this point.
Ideally the album should be more gangster, yet hip hop. A nice mix between TD and TDA. LAX was too R&B ish all over the place, which killed it for me. An R&B singer in almost every track? Come on....

True, I want dope rap on this album like on those songs (Pledge, Invisible Felon, Feelin It), but that won't happen...all he need is Just Blaze, J.R. Rotem, DJ Khalil, EP, Hi-Tek, Scott Storch, as long as he got more producers on it, it will sound bad

From my understanding, Game caught feelings before the Documentary dropped because Jay didn't want the track they were on together to be dropped on The Documentary. It's on Dretox though. Probably recorded at request for Dre for Detox or some behind the scenes shit.

his first album was soppose to be named NWA volume 1.
his second album doctors advocate
his third was suppose to be named the D.O.C.
