Just months after being released from prison and and reuniting with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, group member Flesh-N-Bone is back in prison for violating his probation.
Flesh, born Stanley Howse, was pulled over yesterday (April 2) in Canyon County, California, for driving with a defective brake light.
A search of his vehicle turned up unnamed narcotics and a firearm, in direct violation of his probation.
Flesh was released from prison in July of 2008, after serving over nine years in prison, which derailed his career as a member of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, a rap group that has sold over 30 million records.
He appeared on the group’s critically acclaimed 1994 debut Creepin on Ah Come Up and the follow up full length, E. 1999 Eternal, released in 1995.
Flesh released his debut solo album T.H.U.G.S.: Trues Humbly United Gatherin' Souls in 1996.
A year later, he was arrested when police raided his home and found a stolen gun and explosives.
In September of 1999, Flesh was finally sentenced to ten years for threatening a friend with an AK-47.
Flesh was released from prison on July 13, 2008, and has since reunited with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
“Words can't even begin to explain the feeling that I had after being locked down for damn near a decade,” Flesh told AllHipHop.com shortly after his release. “The best way for me to describe it is to tell you that it was like a rebirth, a second chance at a new life, and a relief. It was over the top. I'll never forget it. I thank God for giving me the immense blessing of the sense of complete freedom.”
Flesh-N-Bone is currently being held at the Santa Clarita jail and is not eligible for bond.

A rep for Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's Stanley "Flesh-n-Bone" Howse has released a statement to SOHH confirming the rapper's arrest last week on gun charges, assuring fans that all the details have yet to be disclosed.
An official representative for the group claims the rapper should not be labeled guilty until all the facts have been brought forward.
"At this time all the facts have not been revealed publicly, however I can assure you 100 percent that Mr. Howse has not walked backwards," the rep wrote. "We live in a great American country where one is innocent until proven guilty." (Statement)
He was arrested Thursday (April 2) night in California on a weapons charge.
Flesh-n-Bone was arrested yesterday evening in Santa Clarita, Calif. for gun possession. Police say they discovered a gun in Flesh-n-Bone's car, real name Stanley Howse, and took him into custody for gun possession. According to sheriff's information, he is being held without bail and is currently still in the slammer. He is due in court on Monday, April 6. (TMZ)
He was reportedly caught after being examined during a traffic stop.
Flesh-n-Bone was arrested for gun possession in Canyon Country on Thursday. During a routine traffic stop at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's deputies discovered a gun in the Howse's car, Lt. Mark Herhsey said. The lawyer for Stanley Howse, better known as the rapper Flesh-N-Bone of the platinum-selling rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, told a court Monday that the weapon found by sheriff's deputies in the rapper's Canyon Country home belonged to Howse's wife - a Chicago police officer.
Howse pleaded not guilty to felony weapons charges in a Santa Clarita Valley Superior Court on Monday.
Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's deputies arrested Howse on Thursday after a traffic stop prompted law enforcement to search the parolee's Canyon Country home. His status as a parolee subjects Howse to random searches at any time, Lt. Mike Dunkle said.
Howse's wife, manager and friends filed into the courtroom Monday for the arraignment. Judge Graciela Freixes ordered Howse back to court April 16 for a preliminary hearing in Santa Clarita Superior Court, department three.
Freixes set bail at $135,000. Howse's attorney protested what he said was a high bail amount, considering the circumstances.
"The gun was found in a closet inside a locked suitcase," said Shepard Kopp, Howse's attorney. "The gun belongs to Mr. Howse's wife Isabel Flores, who is a Chicago Police Officer."
Howse's wife is on leave from the Chicago Police Department, Kopp said. He said the firearm is registered and Howse told deputies at the time of the arrest that the gun belonged to Flores and she was a police officer.
Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Catherine Yeh said Howse's prior criminal record justifies the bail amount.
"Mr. Howse's record is significant and violent in nature," Yeh said. "He has a conviction for assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer."
Howse was paroled in July 2008 after serving 10 years in prison for the assault, Yeh said.
Freixes kept the bail at $135,000.
After the courtroom drama concluded, Robert Francis, Howse's brand manager, issued a statement on behalf of the embattled entertainer.
"At his time all the facts have not been revealed publicly," Francis said.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Flesh-N-Bone, born Stanley Howse, showed up to court yesterday (April 6) where his lawyer said that the gun found on his client last Thursday belonged to his police officer wife.
According to The Signal, Shephard Kopp argued F-N-B’s case to the court. “The gun was found in a closet inside a locked suitcase,” he said. “The gun belongs to Mr. Howse’s wife Isabel Flores, who is a Chicago Police Officer.”
Kopp said the firearm is registered and that F-N-B told authorities that it was his wife’s the time of his arrests. She is currently on leave from the CPD.
Judge Graciela Freixes set the Cleveland MC’s bail at $135,000 and ordered him back to court on April 16.
As previously reported F-N-B has a history of gun charges. In 2000 he was sentenced to 12 years in Pleasant Valley State prison for assault with an AK-47 rifle. He served close to 8 years and was released in July of ’08
