The Invisible Man Mixtape by Stat Quo
http://www.zshare.net/download/583667944d423b03/
Yes, the link is stolen from 2dopeboyz.
Since he's been dropped he's released 4 or 5 mixtapes, what do people think of Sta Qou?
Did he deserve to be dropped?
Could he have been a major commercial artist from the South like T.I, Lil Wayne, or Ludachris?
What do you think of this mixtape The Invisible Man?
Does he have 300-400 songs from Aftermath? Does he have any? Will he drop them?

1.) He's a good artist.
2.) Nah.
3.) Yes, with the right marketing.
4.) Downloading now
4.) I'd say yes, yes, and maybe.

Stat (recently) has been putting out that dope shit; but i want an album from him. 8)
he definatly didn't deserve to get dropped, but i think its a good thing he did.
he would never get a shot on a label where he has to sit behind Em, 50 & Dre.
not to mention he would even have to wait behind Bishop & Bishop isnt dropping anytime soon.
i dont know if he could be a big name on the radio though.
all the names you named have a certain swag to them & a certain respect they get; i dont see (based off the music i've heard from Stat) Stat putting out music people would really feel on the radios; the way they feel Luda, Wayne & T.I..
but i like Stat's style & the music he puts out, cant wait to bump this. 8)

If Stat had dropped in 2005 instead of The Massacre with the whole 50/Game/Eminem buzz at the time he woulda done numbers. Hes dope but I think on Aftermath he may have made party music...
-
yup, if he'd of dropped when everything was popping off over there he woulda done well. stat himself knows this too well and is rightly pissed off about it. the longer an artist is delayed over there the less likely they are to ever come out.
'here we go' was a banger too! maybe not dre's best single ever but EVERYONE i know who heard it was digging it and stat did his thing. too much shady politics. i wonder if stat is gonna come clean and admit that he won't be leaking stuff he recorded over on aftermath, if he even has it in the first place. to be fair, he must have a copy of his LP as that was fully completed, so we better get to hear it!!!
-
^^ Yer i'd be disapointed with Aftermath/Shady if they didn't allow Stat to leave with the original LP...
-
well it was sent out to magazines for review purposes so he MUST have a copy. i'm not so convinced he'd have all the unreleased material his possession though. maybe some of it...
-
Stat does seem intelligent and is aware of his environment - i.e, he knew if they would've promoted him he would've done proper numbers in 2005 because G-Unit/Shady/Aftermath were insanely popular then.
The tracks from Aftermath I've heard have all been dope - Unstoppable, Here We Go, GRITS, My Ride (Double Bubble). I think I like them more then the majority of the material on his free mixtapes/street albums that have followed. His Aftermath material has better song structure and feels less like he's just spitting bars which is how I feel with his mixtapes.
On the 21st he's going to have an album on I-Tunes then in June he'll have a cd in stores to buy. Hopefully, this material will be situated with more song structure.
-
^^ whered ya hear that? post a link if its an interview cause i think i missed it

The two albums you can buy? Both are mentioned on the Outro of this new mixtape The Invisible Man. On his twitter.com/statquo he mentions that on the 21st he'll be releasing the Glasshouse.

I don't know about his early stuff besides 6 or so tracks on Aftermath. Those mixtapes he released all are poor sound quality. I want no dj tracks that have actually been ripped at 196 but eh...if you think he's a shit artist you can. I think Stat comes with heat and passion on these past mixtapes but this last one i wasn't feeling so much.

Yes I like these new mixtapes but his mixtapes on Aftermath were 95% crap...don't what "earlier music" he is talking about though.
