Title: wasn't Easter supposed supposed to be about the crucifiction?

Actually the resurrection. Good Friday is the crucifixion.

the word "easter" comes from english pagan origins.
easter was as english pagan celebration, celebrated on the same day. maybe thats where the easter bunny and eggs bullshyt came from.

the real word for the christian celebration is "ressurection" day. in most languages around the world, the word they use for this celebration translated in english is "ressurection" day.

Christmas trees also come from Pagan origins. Pagans in England were very in tune with nature, and is the root for most English/American Christian celebration.
