Yup, I see him as the ultimate package, just doesn't have enough years under his belt yet to be considered by most people..
No hate cuz you are a decent poster but isnt Lupe an exposed fraud? eg at first he claimed to be a hip hop nerd and love the rap game and then he got exposed as knowing next to nothing and showing next to nothing of his love for the rap game by trying to retire and then backing out of that when people called him out on it?.... I know its nothin to do with the music but how do you know based on this info that he will stay round or remain endearing enough to the public to be able to make the records and become the legend that not just you but other peeps claim him to be?
As I have said no hate to you or him (I enjoy bits and pieces of his stuff and when hes good hes very good) but based on things above I am not yet convinced on this...

This changes from time to time but only slightly... other HMs include Royce, Outkasts, B.I.G, Em and Sean Price could be one in the future! Would be interesting to ask me the same question in 5-10 years!

Lupe has made at least one classic album (Food & Liqour) and worthy follow up effort (The Cool). He isn't disrespecting the rap game if he wants to retire, he justs makes himself look like an idiot when he says that and then doesn't just like Game and Jay did. There's never a guarantee that an artists sticks around. Really doesn't matter. They don't owe anyone shit.

Not because he aint dope, he is easily one of the greatest of all time, its just people in here i never got the impression new about nas apart from some of the hard listening heads...

My list is CURRENTLY btw. Don't get it fucked up, Jay MIGHT be in my top 10 of all time... Top 15 for sure.. He's isn't releasing alot of music anymore, and when he does it's not that good. He fell off. Accept it like we gotta accept Kurupt, Cam'ron, Eminem, and Prodigy fell off....
