Seriously, is THIS his "New Direction" or "New Flow"?
Then it sucks to me.
Most fans think it sucks too.
Matter fact, most people on planet Earth think it sucks.
Is it possible that Dre and Interscope don't give a fuck because he is one of the best selling artists of all time? Or they just don't have the balls to say it?
We Made You, 3 A.M., Crack a Bottle and now this new song have one thing in common: this FUCKING ANNOYING ACCENT.
We Made You had an awesome beat: but the subject is very "has been" and has no replay value due to the accent.
3 A.M. has a very original concept, yet the beat it boring...and then the accent again.
I will not even talk about Crack A Bottle.
To end, this new song has a good beat (although it sounds very uninspired, in the sense that it is a lame copy of Dre's own Coors light commercial/ Ya Boy's American Gangster/ prolly 1548792 other songs lol

I agree with everything you said except Crack A Bottle. Lovely beat, Em with no accent, dope verse from Dre and one of the best 50 Cent peformances single wise since a long time. The chours is the only thing that should be done by somebody else.
And I too, have lost all faith in Relapse. Damn you accent.

What I've heard off Relapse is, in my opinion, decent stuff - and 3 A.M. was straight up ill. It's not shaping up to be a huge event by any means, but for me Relapse = a purchase. I'm looking forward to other releases more (Blackout 2, out the same day, for instance), but if you ask me, Relapse is shaping up to be a cool record. I admit I'd prefer Eminem sans weird voice, but at least his flow is back to its good old self.

I didn't like "Crack A Bottle" until the version with Dre and 50 came out, "We Made You" is not really my type of shit but it has grown on me a little bit I'm not gonna lie, "3 AM" I thought was average at first and thought the "accent" ruined it but now I think it's dope as fuck and I got it in rotation, and the new song that dropped today with Dre I think is pretty good but nothing mind blowing after one listen...
I'm kinda with ChamillitaryClick, some of the songs after awhile you don't notice the "accent" anymore at times, but you still can't help but know that Eminem is capable of much more
I got some hope for Relapse, as long as Em doesn't use his "accent" on all the songs and there's no dumb tracks like there was on Encore then I'm good 8)

Im really not sure what people want from him? i mean everyone was asking for the old slim shady etc....take any song from MMLP and then listen to 3.am its the same type of rapping but in my opinion lyracally better.
People have romantacised the old eminem to point were he was some sort of super rapper and then with th crap that came out of encore people seem to be missing that these new tracks are no better or worse (depending on your opinion) then any track on MMLP.
Plus personally i prefer this new voice as apose to that trying to sound agressive voice he was using on the re-up.

Stating that the "accent" is just the old Shady is plainly false. Go back and listen to SSLP or MMLP - back then he rapped in a high pitched manner, but there was no ACCENT. If you can't hear the difference, then you don't know what we're talking about when we mention the accent. The whole accent debacle isn't about Eminem rapping in a high pitched manner, but the fact that he sounds middle eastern when he does it - something he did not start doing on SSLP, but infact started doing on Encore - have a listen to Ass Like That, for instance.
BTW, the newly leaked track "Insane" is GREAT and Eminem does NOT use the accent on that one, which immediately makes it a million times better than it would have been otherwise.

Ems accent dosent really borther me that much on the album to much anymore, Sure i rather i have the old accent but, I think its a pretty danm solid album with or without the accent. The production is flawless and Im loving the dark grimey feel to the album.
