Explain that please, because it is my understanding he's an independent artist that needs to put up his own money for features, beats, etc, and he gets paid when the album sells.

Gave it a quick listen so far, I like the versatility of the appearances he got (Planet Asia, Zion I, Nickatina, Freeway), but I think he could have cut it down a little bit. I didn't like the "Girls" track or the one with Paul Wall. I like Traxamillion, but his style meshes so well with Rob-Lo that it's hard to compare. I've been waiting for this one for a while, I'll have a better feel for it with a few more listens.

This version isn't even completely correct, it has a few weird bonus tracks but skips a couple that are actually on the album. I just heard that this was 4th in sales last week out of hip-hop releases, a very strong showing for the Jack. I think expanding to so many features and producers ultimately helped him get recognition, though him and Rob-Lo are a perfect match. "Summer" is a great track to start off the album, I also really like "Dreams", "Callin' My Name", "The Movement" and "Our Heroes".
