DJ Yella – One mo Nigga ta Go
1. Dose of reality…intro
2. Westside story…Very slow, laidback production. Dirty Red rides the track with a slow flow to match it, which is dope. Nice hook. 4/5
3. Streets won’t let me go…Dresta appears on this track with a great flow. A great hook is also present, however the production is a bit repetitive. 3.5/5
4. Neva had a chance…Cool, laidback beat is the base for a story told by Yella about a youth headed in the wrong direction. Great hook; the saxophone is a nice touch. 4/5
5. 4 tha E…Yella opens and closes the track with a few spoken words praising Eazy-E. Kokane rides the track for 3 verses with his rap/funk style. The female vocals sound great. 5/5
6. Send for me…An R&B track featuring Traci Nelson. She has a nice voice, but something doesn’t mix well. 2/5
7. Dat’s how I’m livin’…A+ production, fitting BG Knocc Out’s style perfectly for this solo track. Dope ass lyrics. 5/5
8. Ain’t no luv…Another Dirty Red song with a tight beat. Great job on the mic. 4/5
9. 2two face…Straight up gangsta production. Leicy Loc spits some hardcore lines over the great beat. Catchy hook. 4/5
10. So in luv…The second interlude-like song which features Yella. He is talking to his bitch on the phone while another bitch is at his house. A+ hook. 4.5/5
11. Not long ago…Yella recalls thoughts and memories about his friend Eric “Eazy-E” Wright. Very nicely put together. Great slow beat and Traci Nelson is incredible on the vocals. 5/5
OVERALL…4/5
While Yella was never a rapper, he was always a great producer which is proven on his only solo album project. He rounds up some great rappers to spit over his production. Yella’s vocals can be heard throughout the album and on a few interludes that are very remiscent of the old N.W.A days. Dope CD.

How can you give 4/5 to Yella's solo ???? I'll give 2.5/5 ! May that the beats are quite good but I don't like really hiz rap style ! No man ! If ya give 4/5 to that shit, ya must give 7/5 to Straight Outta Compton lol !
-
What the fuck are talkin' about???? Those beats are tight and what are talkin' about HIS rap style? Yella doesn't have a rap style because he doesn't rap! A 7/10 for Str8 outta Compton? Ha! Check the other album reviews I've done....all the ones with blanks for the "topic started by" is me also.

Do u people get it? Yella doesn't rap on this album...He produces beats and get's other rappers to rap over them...It's a pretty solid album...I'll give it a 3.75/5...PeACe
