It all started a few weeks ago, when Jay Z mentioned The Game in one of his Freestyles. Jay said the following:

I don't know, man...maybe I'm not hearing the whole story. But to me, if Game's problem is with Jay, I think he should stick with dissing Jay. I mean, I understand the logic in it. It is a good tactic to try to provoke Jay-Z into finally responding to him. On the other hand, if it still doesn't work and Jay-Z chooses to still ignore him on wax (which I think is a distinct possiblity), Game also risks being further blackballed from the industry. I just think this could be an all-around bad move for him. I guess we'll see.

I'm not trying to hate on Game. I've bought all of Game's albums and several of his mixtapes, and I enjoy them quite a bit. Whereas, I don't even really listen to Jay-Z. He has a few songs I like, but I've never purchased a single Jay-Z album. So if I were prone to being partial to either side, it would probably be Game's. I was just giving my opinion that this may turn out to be a foolish move, on Game's part. I'll continue to support Game's music, as long as he keeps making music that appeals to me.

i cant stand Beyonce she is too overrated as far as music goes . i never liked 1 song by her and she put out what 20 songs a year . Id rather listen to some Mary J Blige , Faith Evans , Jasmine Sullivan , even some Brandy before Beyonce .

If a Westcoast rapper came out spittin the same bullshit Jay does, he'd be hated on to the fullest extent. Like I said, Jay has made some hits, and some classic albums. I don't know...I think "The Documentary" may one day be viewed as a "classic." I don't think enough time has really passed yet to make that determination. But I think it's good enough that it has the potential to reach that status. I'm not really saying that to try to make an argument for who I think is the better MC. That could be true. But Classic albums only mean you had good production and great marketing. Homeboy in your sig hasnt put out a "classic album" yet, do you think Jay is better lyrically then him?

my point is that Jay-Z gets seen as a great rapper cus he's sold a lot of albums. But to me, he's just average on the mic. His flow is boring, his word play is simple. Absolutely nothing he does on the mic seperates him from anyone else. One thing I do like about Game tho, is that Ive never heard him on a track where he couldnt hold his own with anyone else on it. Ive heard a ton of Game tracks, and never once did I feel he was the wink link on the song...no matter WHO the other rapper was. Plus ive heard him rap in different styles and seems more versatile on the mic then Jay.

Most people view The Blueprint as a classic and The Black Album near-classic. Personally I'd call the Black Album a classic as well. It only has 1 weak track. But lets go ahead and say he has two classic albums. There aren't very many rappers who can say that. Nas has two classic albums as well (Illmatic and Stillmatic).

Jay doesn't have to respond. Just cause someone is having a tantrum doesn't mean you have to come in there and parent them. Jay isn't Game's father and they've had no real relationship. Game has always had a reckless tongue and attempted to improve his image by dissing. He might be cool to know in person but his public persona is a walking contradiction.
