Raptalk.Net hooked up with Slaughterhouse for an exclusive VIDEO interview while they spent time in my city, Toronto, Canada for their appearance on Rock the Bells tour. Raptalk.Net got the special treatment, being escorted up to their back stage patio for this exclusive interview.
After having a little but of fun with the group, we begin talking about the tour and how it's treated them so far. Slaughterhouse has clearly been a big deal in the media headlines since forming, so they touch on their opinion about how big of a deal the media has made their bond, plus the specifics on their lyrical talent.
Did the group come together because of the buzz the first self-titled track they recorded created? The group talk to us about that as well!
The self-titled album is being released on August 11th through E1 (KOCH) Entertainment, a deal we discuss regarding why the group decided to roll with E1 to release the project.
The DJ Khalil produced first single "The One" is now out with it's music video, the group discusses the single and why they feel it's a classic -- Although the record has received good feed back, Slaughterhouse also addresses what they think about the on line fans who don't enjoy the record.
Guest appearances, production and the rest of the info on the album is also talked about!

it's a large video so i knew it would give problems if your connection is slow. But for me, it was ran smooth as long as u pause it a bit at the beginning.

For those who say Slaughterhouse has no buzz or isn't a big deal. What has this been up? an hour TOPS? The hit count is already at 321. That is completely fucking abnormal for our hit count. Most interviews for us don't hit that TOTAL. Slaughterhouse did in less than a hour.

Joe just announced on BlogTV 5 min. ago that Escape Route will drop July 28th. It's not an EP, but an LP. Joe couldn't write an EP if his life depended on it. That nigga got too much to say. LOL!!

Pig Face is pushed back to Aug. 18th. Royce also confirmed on his live stream the other night that Street Hop is pushed back to October.

it was suppose to be, but i just called it an EP; it's really more like a street album.

Wtf LOL? How can you push back an album like 3-4 times and then when its almost 2 months away push it back another month...how long does it take to finish a fuckin album? What else is he even doing...the Slaughterhouse album is done, so wtf? I def aint coppin "Street Hop" now just cause of this push back again. Ive made a new rule up that if an album im interested in gets pushed back more then twice i aint coppin it!!!

Great news on "The Escape Route." Disappointing news, regarding "Pig Face, Weapon Waist," and "Street Hop." Sounds like we'll still get to hear "We Outta Here," this month, which is cool. Thanks Lunatic and Pootypooty for keeping us updated.

Thanks Luna, i got it. What's Joell gonna drop? That guy barely drops anything, he's really the only member whose irrelevent solo. I havnt really heard many songs from him, i heard that "Brick Chronoicles" or w.e it was called project like 2 years ago and i wasn't really feeling it!!!

^Joell is working on a project titled "The Free Agent." I thought it was a mixtape but after some quick research, it seems to be his 2nd album scheduled for E1 with a Fall 2009 release date. Not to sure though. I didn't list it for the same reason I didn't list "BOSS", there is no announced release date from what I've seen. But that is what Joell has on the table solo wise.
And Johnny u crazy? U gotta go back and re-listen to Joell's first album "The Brick Bodega Chronicles." That shit is near classic :o

Joell has dropped more shit in the last year on features/internet/mixtapes than Royce and Crook. He really is working in the underground though. His last banger was with Papoose called SO MUCH MORE. uTube the video.
