Track list looks good.  It's about what I expected as far as guest appearances.  They've been kept to a minimal, which is probably for the best.  As far as the track with M.O.P., I figured it would make the cut.  It's a solid track with a semi-high-profile guest appearance.  I think people just assumed it would be left off the album because it leaked so early.
Regarding the album length, I think 15 tracks is pretty good.  Especially considering all the extra Slaughterhouse tracks that have leaked or been included on other projects.

^could have got a better hook singer but k young is cool. Kobe would have been sick. Shocked Khalil produced on this and Kobe didn't deliver a hook. Maybe K Young kills his part though.

They're being released by Amalgam, just like "Mood Muzik 3: The Album" was.  They won't have DJ tags.  The mastering will probably suck though.

This shit will be dope for sure! Disapointed that "Wack MC's" didn't make the final tracklist, but at least this way I get to hear more tracks that I haven't already heard. Will be crazy for sure tho!

Pharoahe Monch & Royce on the same track should be crazy..  8)

I'm questioning the consistency of the album though, on most of the tracks I've heard, they're just kicking random verses, making it sound more like random all-star remixes than a group effort.
I'd like SH to do more concept tracks with some kind of plan behind it.

i was honestly surprised Woodstock made it.

i'm glad Wack MC's & Fight Club & the rest of the leaked songs didn't make it; i didn't want to hear an album filled with tracks i heard months ago.

why? if it's good music, it's good music. when you hear the album 5 years from now, will you hear Woodstock and think: "damn, I could've had another track", or enjoy the song?

yeah, but that song has been on my iPod pushing 2 months, the others are like 3-4 months.

i want 15 brand new, unheard tracks; besides The One because of course they needed a single.

but to answer your questions, yes, i would say damn, this song is five years are two months old lol. :P

I just don't get why people don't want already released songs to appear on albums  ??? the fact that you have already heard doesn't make them worse

it might not make the overall album worse, but personally to me; i hate when i hear a song i've heard 50 times already & for me it would lower my thoughts on the album.

i don't know, like if i hear an album with 5 songs i already know, i tend to skip them because i'd rather hear the new shit i haven't heard.

part of me won't even concider it part of the album, just promo for it.

Don't forget guys... Novel is featured on "Raindrops"

Anyway, about songs already being released this is the way I look at it. "The One" is the official single and "Woodstock" was the official single, those two we are expected to hear before the album is released. When it comes to songs like "Cuckoo" and other recordings that were leaked. You guys can blame yourselves for listening to those, they weren't meant to be heard. No one is forcing people to play out these songs before the album drops. That's a personal decision.

Weird..

Pharoahe Monch and Novel will be the only guests featured on Slaughterhouse’s self-titled debut album.

The LP—starring group members Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9” and Crooked I—will feature sung hooks from Pharoahe and Novel, on two separate tracks. The M.O.P.-featured buzz single, “Woodstock (Hood Hop),” will not be included on the album.

Producers include Emile, Streetrunner, Focus and DJ Khalil, who produced the album’s most recent leak, “Cuckoo.” [Listen Here]

In a recent interview with XXLMag.com, Royce spoke on the group’s songwriting on the album. “We stayed true to what we’re known for, but ended up with records that I think radio will fuck with,” Royce said. “All four of us can make records, so when we get together, what do you think we gon’ do?”

“It’s definitely not going to just be us kicking verses back to back to back for a whole album” the Detroit MC continued. “It’s going to be bigger than people see.”

Slaughterhouse is currently on the road, touring on the Rock the Bells concert with Nas and Damian Marley, Common, Big Boi of Outkast, Raekwon, RZA, and The Roots, among others.

Slaughterhouse drops on August 11, on E1 Entertainment. –John Kennedy

^that's why i questioned it lol.

plus PootyPooty told me it wasn't going to be on it anyway.

it's a great song, but think, how many more times will you bump it if it makes the album & you can listen to songs that you haven't heard before?

am i the only one who doesn't really bump the singles too much after the album drops?

I enjoyed Woodstock more then I did the One.  Cuckoo is dope as well.

I enjoyed Crooked's verse on the One but something about all of it doesn't sit well with me.  It's all a tad bit corny even if they do rhyme well.

If they leave it on there, then they'll face legal repercussions. E1 won't go for that. We'll just have to wait for the official tracklist to drop, which should be really soon.

Yeah.  If they really have to take off "Woodstock," I wouldn't really even mind if they replaced it with one of their older songs like "Fight Club."  Of course, I would prefer an unheard track take its place, but if they were to replace it with a song like "Fight Club" at least they would be putting a good song in it's place (even though it's one that everyone has heard).  On the other hand, I guess there's also the possibility that they'll replace it with nothing and just make the album 14 tracks instead of 15.

Yeah.  I think 3 skits is a little excessive for a 15 track album.  But it's not going to ruin the album for me.  I can almost say that for certain, now that I've heard the snippets.  Just about every track that's not a skit sounds amazing.  If I have to, I can always take the skits out, after-the-fact, and add "Woodstock" back into the album.  But either way, this is gonna be dope.

13. Cut You Loose
14. Rain Drops (feat. Novel)
15. Killaz (feat. Melanie Rutherford & C. Brown)

not too happy about the 3 skits. :-X

but this album will be off the chains! 8)

Put in Woodstock, Wack MC's, and Move On (Remix) and you pretty much got a classic album. Dont know why they just didnt do that. Even though we can just delete them or w.e, what about the ppl who cop the cd lol!!!

God damn those snippets are quality. It may only be 12 tracks, but you gotta remember most of these tracks are 4-5 minutes long...

Royce on the double time sounds ill on that first track...

Just pre-ordered this album then, I was gonna wait to download it, but the snippets sold me

Yeah.  I pre-ordered it as well.  I'm sure I'll probably download it too, if it leaks first.  But I wanted to also order an official copy to have.
