I don't even know if E 40 would take a battle against Jay.
Right now some feel the west coast just not matching up with new york as far as the rap tip
and are just way too soft when it come to the street tip giving new york rap the upper hand

Only one I can think of off the top is Ice Cube. He's got the legacy and classic discography that game doesn't, been in the game longer than Jay and has earned his stripes as a battle emcee.
I'd take Cube over Jigga any day. No Vaseline, King of the Hill, Cross em out and put a K, that one line on Westside Slaughterhouse, his hardcore style in general....this would be an awesome beef.

Both their lyrical ability and status in the game impact how well they do in a beef. Jay is a legend in the game and like it or not, most of the notable west coast rappers have fallen off considerably. A battle legend like Ice Cube could rip him apart of course, but aside from Cube who else has the stripes to go up against him? Who's Fucking Who was a rather weak diss and if MC Eiht dropped a diss towards Jay tomorrow, no one would take notice.
