Oh shit, I'm definitely liking the fact that No I.D. & Kanye did the whole album (new Dre & Storch ?) and that he kept the guests to a minimal (mostly choruses anyway)
-
gonna be dope as fuck :o
was hoping for j cole though.
-
I hope Kanye comes correct on this one...this could turn out to be a pseudo-pop album. I have faith that Jigga won't let that happen, but who the fuck knows these days?
-
was hoping for j cole though.
Same here, i'm happy KiD CuDi's on there but it annoys me that he got Drake on there and left out J. Cole who's his own artist
-

It won't happen. It'll have 2-3 mainstream singles to keep the album moving units though (i'm guessing the kanye/rihanna 1 we heard already lol, the drake track and the timbo track)
-
No Just Blaze? Oh well, at least there should be a consistent feel through out the album.
Oh and wack ass cover.
-
ooooh I cant wait. Tracklist looks ill.
and you can tell the cover is Kanye-inspired :/
-
Kid Cudi, Drake, Mr. Hudson... Mr. West did it his way

ye lol.
I was wondering why it was still jay's name on the cover

4. Unforgiven (Produced by Kanye West, Additional Production: MGMT)
This will be interesting to see what MGMT bring to the production, guys are great musicians, real chilled out music
-
Looks dope!!!
-
Dopeness

Same. That and the Nas track could be dope. The other tracks i'm not so sure about. Jay fell off a lot in terms of rapping so it'll be on Kanye and the guest features to really carry the album.
-
looks dope! :o
if i had to guess i would say that Empire State of Mind & Thank You are going to be the two dopest cuts.
the production appears to be a given that it will be sick & i have good thoughts about this album. 8)
-
co-production by MGMT and feautures Mr. Hudson twice!!!!! This is going to be gooooooooood
-
damn, looks sick! :o
-
for some reason that cover reminds me of q-tips 'renaissance'
-
Keeping an open mind for this album...
-
anything less than dope will be a dissapointment
-
the nerve of Jay jacking the cover of Delirious "kingdom of comfort." first he jacks Krs-One's "blueprint" title and now this... damn 40 year olds...

Shaping up to well.

That's reaching a bit far I reckon...
What happened to Jay being a trend setter, this album has Kanye stamped all over it, from the cover to the features...
Be interesting to hear that MGMT collabo

Ive been saying it for a while now that kanye west is the only thing keeping jay z relevant.Which is ironic because jay didnt want kanye to rap in the first place
-
There's some truth to that statement.
-

Hell he wasnt going to sign him, but dame push the issue. Now how ironic is that. This run the town track is good, not great just good.
-
Hmm, I'll check this out.
-
I'm also interesting in hearing that MGMT co-produced track. I totally loved their album.
-
What's so great about this MGMT ? That "Kids" song is horrible.
-
i'm coppin this.
-
Definatly aint feeling the cover, also where are the features from memph bleek etc, much rather hear him the fucking drake.

Yeah its been what how many albums since Bleek had a feature? How you gonna expect people to buy his music when you don't even believe in him enough to put him on your own shit
-
It's a jay album. If you want bleek go peep his material. And, how long you expect Jay to keep feeding bleek? ya some haters.
-

Where's the hating? I just think its stupid not putting artists signed to his own label on his own projects, its free promotion
-

Nah fuck that, I bet that's why he bought out his contract from Def Jam.. the product placement cameos are ridiculous on Def Jam, their albums all have the same fucking artists on them, and usually with generic beats.
Album cameos shouldn't look like the label roster.

Yeah, cameos should be from a mix of artist from different record companies. I am looking forward to the Jay album. Haven't really been pursuing his stuff for a while now. But I like that DOA song.
-
this album will be sick!
-
Thats the cover ? if so its very creative . Cool album cover !! Im buying this album , i bought Blueprint 1 & 2 . so why not buy this one . I bet it will be better than American Gangsta or Kingdom Come .
-
Its good to see only 4 or 5 Features on the album and not 20 Features .
-
Blueprint 2 was wack.
KC & AG > BP2
-
Think this album could go either way, greatness or a disapointment
-
another classic from the king 8)
-
looks good

I actually agree with that.
-
Those video stills look sick!
-
The stills look corny. Why are they in mortal kombat?
That last photo, on the left looks like Lloyd Banks.
Hopefully, the stills just look corny and it'll be tight. The song is aight. If it's one of the opening tracks it makes sense.

agree, i'm a big MGMT fan, very surprised to see them involved.
I'm looking forward to this album more than anything from Jay for several years

Favorite songs
Some How , Some Way Feat. Scarface & Beanie Sigel

Excuse Me Miss
The Watcher 2 Feat. Dr Dre
Hova
-
This will be Jay's big return
-
For me, when I listen to BP2 all I hear is corniness. The atmosphere of the album doesn't ride. This is largely due to the beat selection which all sounds incredibly dated.
The Watcher 2 was lame. It was no longer cool and original but played out. I couldn't and can't get into it like I did with the one for 2001.

Yup if he took the best tracks from BP2 and put them on one CD he would of had another classic, double albums are always like that
-
Blueprint 2 was a good album . probally his 5th best album to date .

Yeah but I've heard people question their "classic status", if they had been compiled to one CD there would be no disputing. All dope as fuck albums though they'll always be classic for me
-
vid looks cool maybe itll make me like the song.
