Oh shit, I'm definitely liking the fact that No I.D. & Kanye did the whole album (new Dre & Storch ?) and that he kept the guests to a minimal (mostly choruses anyway)

I hope Kanye comes correct on this one...this could turn out to be a pseudo-pop album. I have faith that Jigga won't let that happen, but who the fuck knows these days?

Same here, i'm happy KiD CuDi's on there but it annoys me that he got Drake on there and left out J. Cole who's his own artist

It won't happen. It'll have 2-3 mainstream singles to keep the album moving units though (i'm guessing the kanye/rihanna 1 we heard already lol, the drake track and the timbo track)

No Just Blaze? Oh well, at least there should be a consistent feel through out the album.

Oh and wack ass cover.

Same. That and the Nas track could be dope. The other tracks i'm not so sure about. Jay fell off a lot in terms of rapping so it'll be on Kanye and the guest features to really carry the album.

looks dope! :o

if i had to guess i would say that Empire State of Mind & Thank You are going to be the two dopest cuts.

the production appears to be a given that it will be sick & i have good thoughts about this album. 8)

the nerve of Jay jacking the cover of Delirious "kingdom of comfort." first he jacks Krs-One's "blueprint" title and now this... damn 40 year olds...

That's reaching a bit far I reckon...

What happened to Jay being a trend setter, this album has Kanye stamped all over it, from the cover to the features...

Be interesting to hear that MGMT collabo

Ive been saying it for a while now that kanye west is the only thing keeping jay z relevant.Which is ironic because jay didnt want kanye to rap in the first place

Yeah its been what how many albums since Bleek had a feature? How you gonna expect people to buy his music when you don't even believe in him enough to put him on your own shit

Where's the hating? I just think its stupid not putting artists signed to his own label on his own projects, its free promotion

Nah fuck that, I bet that's why he bought out his contract from Def Jam.. the product placement cameos are ridiculous on Def Jam, their albums all have the same fucking artists on them, and usually with generic beats.
Album cameos shouldn't look like the label roster.

Yeah, cameos should be from a mix of artist from different record companies.  I am looking forward to the Jay album.  Haven't really been pursuing his stuff for a while now.  But I like that DOA song.

The stills look corny.  Why are they in mortal kombat?

That last photo, on the left looks like Lloyd Banks.

Hopefully, the stills just look corny and it'll be tight.  The song is aight.  If it's one of the opening tracks it makes sense.

For me, when I listen to BP2 all I hear is corniness.  The atmosphere of the album doesn't ride.  This is largely due to the beat selection which all sounds incredibly dated.

The Watcher 2 was lame.  It was no longer cool and original but played out.   I couldn't and can't get into it like I did with the one for 2001.

Yeah but I've heard people question their "classic status", if they had been compiled to one CD there would be no disputing. All dope as fuck albums though they'll always be classic for me
