It's an abstract art sort of thing with Cam'ron. Comparing him and Joe Budden is like comparing Thomas Kinkade and Salvador Dali. The majority of people would rather have a pretty picture of a lakeside cabin, but some would like that cabin to be filled with obscure references to society and crazy colors. Cam'ron fans represent that minority who have the capability for abstract thought and run with it, as opposed to the traditional "in the box" mentality. A lot of people will just never get it though and won['t be able to interpret.

Actually you are very correct. From what I've noticed in my own experiences it's generally a sense of humor/cynical/intelligence thing vs just liking hip hop. i renege on that statement.

But Cam got more lines that makes you say "oh shit" and lines you can laugh with. It's all fun! Plus, Cam has had the best beats of these two rappers so far.

I was a huge fan of all four artists before they formed and own all their albums.So their nothing new to me.Now their getting the recognition they all deserve.And your contradicting yourself saying you dont care about artists getting attention and then insulting sh for getting any LOL.And i dont care about sales that much but they do matter.If they dont make money off it they arent going to keep making music that goes for any artist.And their already planning a second album and alll have solo projects coming out so dont worry they arent going anywhere.

Each to their own, personally I thinking Joe Budden is really an excellent rapper but I thought his first album on the whole was weak. However this response of referring back to Pump It Up every time is so played out. That might be the highlight of his commercial success but commmercial success usually does not co-exist with talent anyway. I do find it surprising that people would express the opinion that Joe Budden's flow is boring though and yet embrace Camron's flow which for me is so unentertaining that it's a waste of so many good beats but just my opinion. However that is the beauty of music isn't it? since music is an expression of oneself, it means different things to different people so there is no definitive answer.
