would be good if daz could get the hard copy/pressed cd's for sale on amazon.com, so we can save costs for international shipping by buying other cd's together in one order, plus not having to pay for the fee for international money orders when using paypal.
saves alot of money that way, and my order is recorded when using amazon, while sending a money order in the mail, you dont know what can happen. it could possibly not get delivered, and then the money is lost, or they could pocket the money, and then not read the mail adress properly, and end up sending it to the wrong adress, or forget to send the cd, or just pocket the money without sending the cd, and in practically all these cases, you wouldnt be compensated with the cd being sent again to you.
all these problems dont happen when using amazon.
i'll most probably end up ordering a copy from dpg recordz.
i used to order dpg recordz releases through toon before, and he was very reliable.
i wonder if toon is the one that will be handling the orders of the public enemiez cd's,.....

Given the previous track record of certain releases in the past, people aren't going to be eager to send "money" orders only. If it was more legit through an online retailer using an online payment system or some other method to protect/secure my money then I'd purchase, but I'm not sending out $20 cash, and twiddling my thumbs for months waiting for something that may never arrive

I'm not tryna be a dick i'm just sayin'. i'm a huge fan I have al your work but doesn't it make more sense to push the product the right way i'm just confused by that. Especially being in Canada it's hard to get some of your stuff as is. You have a CD pressing factory let's press a few up and at the least put em on CDbaby.com or something, costs $35 bucks.

I'm not complaining, I was just simply stating that given the Makaveli/Dillinger CD reputation and other separate incidents, some people will be skeptical when it's one on one orders. I do appreciate the effort though, and for people like me in the UK, to send cash money orders in, would mean that I'd have to then go to a travel agents, or bank, exchange money from pounds to dollars - which costs an additional fee in itself, then pay extra to send it out to another country - extra if I want it recorded/tracked delivery, which I would considering I'm sending cash via different transports & store rooms... A lot more effort and money, whereas paypal would be more easy and straightforward. To come out and say a careless "fk y'all" rant to the few fans you actually have overseas (when a lot of US artists strive for that privilege) for simply being a little inquisitive about sending a money out in this day and age, does nothing to further the confidence of your professionalism and integrity in my opinion. I have sampled the album, and love the smooth beats it has.
From a UK fan who has purchased ALL of your official CD releases (besides Who Rit wit us 3, and Public Enemiez) but after receiving an unnecessary outburst of abuse like that, I'll think I'll re-consider whether or not to even bother with any future ones and just download them for free

If you question anything, or even dislike some of his music or experimental periods, then you get a childish "fk y'all" or "fk u, succ a dicc" etc. I was a huge Daz fan when he first started DPG Recordz, but from him being able to be on the internet, and interact with fans and the public, it's put me off him more as a person, even though I still find his music dope. I'm in no way a hater but I don't want to line the pockets of a man who doesn't respect his fans who are actually eager in buying his album.. A few people have said "what, no paypal"? i wonder how many people have already sent money orders for the cd?...that sucks real bad if they wont get the cd, or even worse not get their money back.
before daz decided to not sell the cd's anymore, i was going to send a money order shortly, luckily i didnt send it straight away, or else i wouldve lost that money for sure.

I got this album off the net and i'll support it by bumpin it in my ride and making my homiez/friendz aware of this album and DAZ.
Daz is a very talented rapper and is a millionaire so I doubt he care about you haters on this board.
If I see this album in the stores or on a website that I dealt with like www.cduniverse.com I will cop it.

To be real honest for a second though, who has actually hated here to be labelled a hater??? No one has called him wack, no one has questioned his talents as a rapper or producer, whereas a hater would actually hate EVERY aspect of him, but that hasn't been evident at all on this thread so people should just sussshh on the "hater" reply rubbish because it's not even about that... This is about the testimony's of people being ripped off, and due to the past, people will be a bit hesitant to send cash out, especially in 2009, and what will he do to those who have already sent cash out now that he's refused to sell the CD's?
He conducts business amateurishly, and sometimes disgracefully. What? He can put an album on I-Tunes, Amazon etc. for MP3 download, but can't create a secure, and protected payment method such as PayPal for the fans to kill any uncertainty?? Absolutely ridiculous... Work with the fans, get their input, build on trust and development as an artist since he's working more at the fans level as an indie artist... Spitting the dummy out and conducting himself childishly towards "HIS" fans whenever he can't handle any constructive criticism will only further damage his reputation
I love his music, but from a personal stand point, I'd like to see him act more professional with dignity when he's trying to be businessman as well as rap artist, and I would like to see him actually conduct an interview or youtube video without trying to convince us of some 'hard' image by always having to be rolling weed, or smoking blunts, or doing interviews in a steam room to create the effect of 'too much smoke' to 'impress'. It's cringing at times and reminds me of what kids to to act hard... So what I guess I'm saying is - I wish Daz can grow up because he's talented as fk, both on boards, and Mic, and not only will it benefit us, but it can open doors for him too. Amaru, Dre, Warren G, and others who see him as immature or unreliable may be willing to work with him, which would be a god sent

I've probably typed the most words in this thread, and I have purchased almost his entire catalouge of work, and duplicate copies of many albums. I'm just not too enthusiastic about his cringing 'attempt to impress' on youtube videos and attitude towards questionable fans who quite rightfully so have the right and display the right to question certain actions from him. He's almost 40, and besides the childish rants to fans who criticise his lack of professionalism, he's up posting youtube videos of him in saunas and steam rooms with blunts tryna to create the effect that he's "smoked a ton of weed"... It's about as embarrassingly sinful as a kid running around with a BB gun around the back of the street amongst other kids thinking he's "gangsta".
He needs to grow up. His juvenile attitude is the cause of why Afeni & Amaru refuse to work with him, and why Dre doesn't want anything to do with him. Dre has worked with all his former protege's such as Snoop, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Kurupt etc. but wont with Daz. His favouritism in people is changeable, as shown in many interviews over the years, and it's a shame because he has a massive amount of talent, hence why I buy his albums, but he really needs to grow up, and quite the frontin hardman act on the internet, chill out, and demonstrate some integrity towards his fans, peers and people who helped him from back in the day

Daz didn't get $25 Million. The suit was for $25.5, but I think Suge managed to escape this by claiming fault on his legal team. It was all down to breach of contract which was around $800,000, so there's a big difference between the 2 figures

I'm a big Dogg Pound fan, i got over 60 DPGC albums but i would never pay 500 fuckin dollars for a CD. I ended up getting it from Toon for a pretty good price. I forget how much but it was a lot cheaper than what they were advertising it as. Toon was the shit! I know at least a couple folks who bought stuff from him and he always had some pretty good and fairly rare DPG releases (DPG version of "Against The Grain", D&YG maxi-single, etc) and had reasonable prices.

$50 for a CD isn't that expensive considering it was sought after material requested time and time again from the fans.. Supply and demand will always triumph.. Original or rare Beatles LP's with rare songs on them sell for far more. Almost up to $2000 a piece, Elvis is no different. Iconic stars such as 2Pac who are in that same category are going to carry that comparison, so when you got a guy who comes out and says he's going to put out a raw, 2Pac EP, at a time when there wasn't much leaks, or unreleased material, and a time where the retail releases were heavily remixed the wrong way people will gladly pay, what would be considered a cheap $50. No one deserves to get ripped off because they are willing to pay the money asked, when others will just fence sit and wait for leaks, just as with any purchase. If people want to pay $5000 for a 2Pac Gold record award, or authentic poem page does that mean they deserve to be ripped off too? Whether it be writing, picture, or music, you can't always put a price on art

The reason is, is because he's laying down the foundations for possible scams (no Paypal, amazon etc.) given his previous record, confidence in Daz following through on "personal" orders isn't good, and when he bites the hands that feed him for simply commenting on that situation then yeh people will speak on it.
