People who sin in God's name are committing blasphemy... God gave us the ten commandments..... we are not to lust or commit murder... Those people who justify their action by saying God made them do it, are committing the unforgivable sin.... God said that no one will be forgiving if they commit blasphemy... and there are alot of people who died doing unlawful, and unholy things....
we are all God children's, we all have the right to be forgiven by his will, and by the blood of the lamb. The truth is there are alot of sick people in this world who do not accept the teaching of christ... but there are also alot of people in this world who know the teaching and follow them knowing that they are sinners... I am a sinner.. I commit sin everyday.. but it is my faith in God that saves me from damnation..

however I also believe it could be based on their parents belief, because they can always pray to God to take their child...

You are old enough to make you own choices.. if you choose to reject the teaching of your church.. and then commit great sin without remorse.. then.. well that is up to God to decide...
There are laws in the catholic church that are to be followed... you have the holy sacroments... which are baptism, which is for the forgivness of sins... washing your soul clean, which you can also do by desire... if you never have been baptise... also you have confession, which god puts it on your heart to confess... through guilt... you also have communion which is another way to accept christ, because you are accepting his body that was given up for our sins... it is not uncommon for people struggle with their faith before they commit their lives to God, there are alot of religious people who are quick to jugde and manipulate the word of god...
For myself I struggled with my faith for over 7 years before i got to this point, and i am still making mistakes.
As for the people who died before christ came to the earth... they were saved when christ died. Jesus went into hell and brought followers out of hell to rejoice in his kingdom.. again.. free will, and choosing the accept christ...

The Bible clearly says that you have to accept Jesus as your savior in order to go to heaven. Otherwise, no matter how good or wonderful or innocent you are, you die and go to hell. This includes miscarried children, young children who die at an early age and tribes who aren't aware of Christianity.

I was born Catholic (fyi, i think the Vatican may be the single most evil entity on Earth today) but did not like church at an early age, truly saw the facade...then was basically agnostic/atheist before finally realizing that the concept of "God" or Intelligent Consciousness or whatever you wanna call it is legit.
Anyone that is open minded and objective can see the inherent flaws in organized religion. So what happens is, you see the scam that people are falling for and, as a result, you completely denounce whatever said organized religion is preaching off top regardless.
So then the people who truly control organized religion STILL manage to win to a significant extent, because the result of leaving organized religion often leads to atheism. And to the powers that be, they can still control you because while you're no longer part of the church, you are now Godless with less humanity because you ultimately serve yourself and your ego instead of the greater good. And that mentality is easily vulnerable, just as vulnerable as those that are still members of the church.
So yeah, really try and distinguish between "God" and organized religion. Just because you see the ridiculous hypocrisy of religion doesn't de facto make you not believe in God.
