Roscoe had to have one of the coldest guest appearance verses for a intro I have heard in a looooooooong time on I Call Shots. One of my all time favs. I knew once I heard that track, it was gonna be on and popping.

This was when Kurupt was at his best (aside from his early Death Row days). A true Westcoast classic.

CLASSIC, I remember getting this the same day I got 2001 8), this album made Kurupt one of my favorite rappers.
I can listen to the cd start to finish, something I cannot do with 2001.
Only other solo from Kurupt I like is space boogie, all of his others dissapoint, Kurupt was ON POINT and SAVAGE on Antra

Another westoast classic. Prolly in my top 5 westcoast albums of all time. Calling Out Names was HUGE and fucking KILLED DMX and Ja with no response from them. I remember Kurupt in the booth with Big Tigger when this album was coming out and he freestyled over DMX track "Whats My name" (DMX single at the time) and absolutley destroyed that shit, it was insane!

I haven't give the full album a spin in a minute, personal classic for me and Kurupt's best album for sure... so many great tracks from the album I don't know where to start, "I Call Shots", "Who Ride With Us", "Trylogy", "Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha", "Step Up", and "Calling Out Names" were my favorites

No doubt, Kurupt came correct but Roscoe absolutely destroyed that track.

Who ride wit us and Streetz is a Mutha are my fav songs off the album. Loved this album when it first came out. It got a ton of play from me that year and the following year. Haven't listened to it in awhile as I don't really listen to full albums much anymore. I still prefer RR&GB over this album though.

This thread make me go download Streetz iz a mutha again,listened to it on my way to work and on my way back,still ve the earphone stuck right now....
This is just classic,not a single filler track,loved it back then but there's was a lot of Dope albums out at that time ,so really grip me too hard..
Listening to it now shows how dope the west could be with a bit of effort!!
Am definitely buying this again for keeps!

This album, Doggfather, and RR&GB are the blueprint for a great DPGC member album. Having the fam on it wrecking shop on each track. I have been bumping Welcome Home and Neva Gonna Give It Up heavy lately.

my homie was working for the college radio station, and they got a copy of this album but it was edited, all the swear words were blanked out.
Well we still bumped that shit for about a month, and then we finally got the unedited version and bumped it for like 2 or 3 more months.
Fuck I still listen to this album. One of my favorite Kurupt and one of my favorite rap albums of all time.
