First Solo album from the Dogghouse Soultress also known as the Young Version of Aretha Franklin production on the album will be handle by Soopafly,The Neptunes & more ....cameos from Missy Elliot ,Tweet ,P Diddy & more. Expect this album to be very Soulful with a neo Soul flava!!!!

Um, its gonna be very soulful, its gonna be a great records were gonna get some top notch producers and it's gonna be one of those records that sounds like an old Aretha Franklin album.

I'll definitley get this.

My fav songs of her are...

"Everytime"
"Ballad Of Jimmy Bones"
"Fallen Star"

Just about anything she's been on is tight.

She got a beuatiful voice indeed.

It's interesting to see that Doggystyle is not only releasing Hip Hop albums but taking it further..

With a warm disposition and incredible talent to boot, we feel that LaToiya Williams will flourish at her current Doggystyle Records home. Her new set is scheduled to be released in August and will be distributed by MCA Records.Folks will soon come to know her full scope as she graces production from Doggystyle in house producer Soopafly, as well as Missy Elliot, Puffy, DJ Premier and others

I can wait for this.
Can't see her blowing up neither.. Truth Hurts had a 5 times bigger chance, but you never know.
Cameos/production on this album is make it or break it for me..

I don't have too high hopes for this album. I don't really like her voice and can't see her ever blowing up. I might cop it if she gets some dope guest appearances on it though. I don't think she is capable of holding down an entire album by her own.

U cant compare her to Truth Hurts they dont have the same style of singing and I think she has big chance to blow up since alot of magazines and websites are talking about her As The Next Big Thing in the Neo-Soul music, they just need to release the right tracks for her

I think Lotoiya is pretty dope...I was feelin her on Fallen Star...She has a very nice voice, she needs the right production and the right appearacnes tho to make her album a success....I think it's a great move for Doggystyle to release this record tho.  IMO this album will be a success.

Helll Noooo Brotha,...she's a singer and thats not a rap record thats an R&B record so I really dont agree with Daz, Snoop, Eastsidaz & Too $hort :o :o being on there...This is soul music so there should be guest like Kelly Price or Faith Evans

I know what you mean but you gotta understand that Snoop & Soopafly dont need to be on this album ,yeah true they can sing but this wont be like a Ashanti record you know ,It wont be an album for the tennie fans its more for a mature audience so she should work with real R&B Artist and make classic music like Whitney Houston or like Kelly Price and others

I think they should move "Dogghouse Soul Food" onto this album, its such a waste it not being on an album cause it was such a dope track.

And I agree with Bigg Chillah, this isn't some Ashanti record or something, the audience that needs to be aimed for isn't gonna buy an album with Eastsidaz and Snoop rapping gangsta shit on it. You could get away with someone like Common, or Talib Kweli busting a verse on this but that's about it. One collaboration I would love to see on here would be her doing a duet with Bilal. He is amazing, and that duet he did with Tweet on her album was straight dope, and I can imagine a similar result if he did a track with Latoiya.

Dude, what? LaToiya is on some soul shit, that stuff wouldn't do her any good! Can you honestly imagine someone like LaToiya singing over an Eminem beat for example and that being a successful combo? 'Cause I can't. Don't expect this to be a straight up hip-hop album, 'cause it won't be that. It's a soul album.
