not really, I work with mad Hispanics and that's just how they do and also my homeboy is Colombian and I'm always around his fam and what not so I never had a problem with it

I do it all the time lol. it does give off a vibe that their trying 2 talk behind your back. Knowing that, I still do it with my family (if there is a person around us who doesn't speak Portuguese)
