I have a few gigs I'm holding off on scheduling until I get close to finishing this solo..
Movin Units caused me to pause on it in the first place, I don't want to have that happen again this year..

aint copped the album yet but from what iv heard from the snippets it sounds like 2010 g funk, this is what the west has been missing, sounds great to me!
production sounds clean as fuk aswell, very clear & well mixed.
cant really say i have a standout track cause they all great individually, no fillers from what iv heard. 8)

the g-funk type of vibe is right up my street. this is the kind of thing i can put on while chillin' playin multiplayer videogames.
maybe not a fair comparison, but i do prefer 'Informal Introduction' by quite a stretch, one of the best west coast cds ever imo. that had nate dogg features galore and amazing production from the likes of DJ Quik and Timbaland. a classic and tough for any subsequent release to live up to.
however, i appreciate this wasn't made with anywhere near the same kind of budget. the fact that this can still stand by itself for its funkin', cohesive sound and bumpability is an achievement. i've said this before about daz, but any artist that is actually putting product out there while other rappers fumble about on major labels going from one release date to the next, deserves their props.
for shade - i read about the unreleased material with nate dogg :o that's some shit that everyone would love to hear at some stage. and dj quik!!! can we get some collaborations/production from dj quik in the future. i dunno how hard quik is to reach out to or what kind of costs are involved, but the fact he is still out there making classic music, he has to be a #1 target. and knoc has also been putting out quite a bit of new music lately, maybe some future collabs with him too? peace.

You know what's so ironic? It doesn't start up anymore after I installed a new version of iTunes.
Luckily I have this Movin Units album converted to mp3 on my mp3-player, just like the latest TQ single. All other purchased digital music is possibly gone. If I can't get my music back from iTunes that is messed up. In fact: if I can't get them back from the artists themselves I will not support those artists anymore either because... well, there is no need to explain that.

The new album 'Movin Units' marks the return of PYO's (Put Yourself Out Entertainment) own creators, the founders of the original 'Grand Theft Audio' project series and the producers who virtually patented the medium now known as the 'Street Album' and 'Worldtape.' Collectively they are known as 'N.U.N.E. and Shade Sheist' and their new single 'Movin' Like A Boss' is available now at all digital retailers worldwide.
The recently released 'Movin Units' album features 16 quality tracks that range from hardcore uptempo funk to smooth California grooves.
Artist features include original West Coast crooner Domino and RedRum781 of 'Bangin on Wax' fame. The project also showcases a new smoker's anthem 'SUCPIYC,' with a comedic viral video currently streaming on YouTube.

Finally got round to buying this album and it was a nice surprise to see it signed personally by Shade & Nune. The album is mint as fuck and got a great summer G-Funk vibe to it. Props to both Shade & Nune for signing the CD and its good to see PYO is still putting fans first unlike a lot of other artists 8)
