So far the best record I've heard this year! Just amazing production and performance from BLH 8)
And the quality of the mastering at Strange Muzic is just off the hook!

I pre orderd it. Looking foward to gettin it.

Just finished listening to the whole thing. In my opinion the album is great but not quite classic. I'd give it an 8.5/10. Lyric-wise, Lynch's lyrics are tight as fuck. I really can't think of any songs on here that I disliked. Overall, the appearances were good as well. Tech N9ne's one appearance on the album is tight. Krizz Kaliko supplied a nice hook for that song too. The track with Snoop Dogg and the Dogg Pound was tight as well.
Other songs that stand out to me after one listen-through (besides "Meat" and "Plotted My Next Murder" which still stand out as two of my favorites) include "Colostomy Bag," "Split Personality," "Siccem," and "Nutt Bag."
My biggest criticism of the album, really, is the inclusion of so many skits. I do appreciate that Lynch is trying to tell a story though, and from that perspective, perhaps some of the skits on here are necessary. But looking at the tracklist, there are 6 tracks labeled as skits, and in addition to that there are several tracks that basically end with skits after the song wraps up. And the album itself wraps up with two skits in a row.
Maybe instead of ending the album with two skits, they should have included the track "She Thinks I'm a Psycho" on the album proper to end the cd. It's such a good track anyway, I'm a little disappointed that it didn't end up on there. But at least they made the track available in mp3.
Overall, I have to say this is a really solid album. One of my favorites that "Strange Music" has put out in quite a while. I should have the official version in a few days, having ordered it from the Strange Music website. I would recommend anyone who's a Tech N9ne or Brotha Lynch Hung fan to pick this up.

nice album, seems to flow through the tracks real nice, it just flows well and the mastering of the tracks is off the hook!
still giving it a proper listen though
-
real good quality cd, and to everyone downloading it thats cool but remember lynch has been pretty fucked by the industry and never made any where near what he should have, if youre going to support any rapper this is a good choice

copped the album at best buy for 11.99 and it was worth every penny spent. go buy this and support real underground hardcore hiphop. finally lynch as back after 7 years and strange music seems to be on point with everything from the packaging/artwork to the mixing/mastering of the cd. u want more high quality videos and cds from lynch?? now's the time to support this album and cop it!! he's in the best position with the number one indie label so lets keep pushing.

Just got my signed copy in the mail today from the Strange Music Store. It's pretty tight. One thing I like about when you buy an autographed cd from them, is they send you the regular cd, still sealed and also an extra copy of the cd booklet with the autograph on it. The shirt that came with it is pretty tight too. It's got a skull on the front with the "Dinner and a Movie" logo at the bottom.
-
Just bought it from best buy a few hours ago and have only got through about half of the album but so far the shit is dope. You can tell that Strange Music really invested in Lynch, everything is top notch from the album artwork/booklet to the beats/production to the artwork on the cd itself and the mixing/mastering is on point; of course Lynch's flow is sick as usual! In my opinion if the second half of the album is as good as the first then this is definitally one of Lynch's best right up there with Loaded (Season of The Siccness will always be my favorite though ;D )
-
im not the biggest lynch fan...but ima mos def check this out.....the production sounds dope...for the songs ive heard
the hook on "Colostomy Bag"....sounds dope
-
Best album ive heard in years from the westcoast , finally some hard shit !!! BLH stay dope 8) 8)

fo' real
-
Brotha Lynch came out with some good shit and it doesnt surprise me considering Strange put it out. The production is bumpin and he came hard on pretty much every track, staying consistent with the topic of the album. The only problem I have with it is that his flow sounded formulated compared to his older shit and maybe even a lil forced on some tracks, as if he was tryin a lil too hard to fit in with the Strange Music sound. But still, a bangin' album, front to back 4/5
-
Bought this shit today!! sick ass cd!! 8)
-
after a few days of bumping, i have to say this shit is solid as fuck. i will buy this as soon as i see it
-
Heard the album debut at 60 something on billboard charts top 200 albums . thats good for Lynch 8)
-
it only moved 7,900 copies >:(
-
it only moved 7,900 copies >:(
word, if he cracked at least 10,000 I would say that was pretty decent for all the promo and push that Strange had for Lynch... none of his previous albums got this much press
but either way fuck sales, the album is dope as fuck... too many great tracks on it to name my favorites and I felt it was worth the wait 8)
-
that number 7,900 is kinda crazy though , i see alot people still downloading and bootlegging probally . buy it support the west
-
Damn. Those numbers are kind of disappointing. I was hoping this album would be a success for Brotha Lynch. I'm sure he worked hard on it. The album itself is great. Don't sleep on this one, guys. If you're a fan of Brotha Lynch or Tech N9ne/Strange Music, this is well worth the money.
-
This is a new Sacramento Classic.
-
i wonīt buy it to support no area, iīll buy it because itīs fucking great
-

Season Of The Siccness
-
Yeah i really like the album, been listening to it alot.
Dope production, flow, lyrics.
Good album but yeah skits do get annoying sometimes and its the sort of album that you have to be in the right mood or around the right sort of company to listen to, lol, this type of music(lyrics) definately not for everybody.
I can understand it not selling to be honest, lots of people would be off put by the lyrics, not me though^^

Season Of The Siccness
Season Of Da Siccness went on to go Gold, and Loaded came out under Priority so those were "major" as well
but this album has had the most promo though, I was happy to catch a commercial for it on MTV Jams a few weeks back 8)
