damn! 30 minutes long! shit is like an ep!
-
Very short, not bad is all I can say after first listen.
-
Damn I was seriouslyn looking forward to this but now I feel really let down by it just being 30 minutes long. Hopefully it will quality over quantity. Downloadng now.
-
Well a thoroughly enjoyable listen but just didn't last long enough. Beat choices were strong and they all came good with the vocals but it left me itching for more.
-
man all three use to be dope
they need to get back on that wu shit like....... lol
and make some dope muzik.
rza>>>>>>>>>
-
wtf 30 mins long :D
-
good 30 mins lol
-
30 min?
if every track isn't a classic then they fucked up making it this short
-
Meth didn't lie when he said the label rushed them to put this out
-

Didn't know that. Just shows you how fucked up Def Jam are at the moment.
-
Agreed this album is really short...but every track bangs. Wish they could of got a couple more tracks on there
-
short but sweet 8)
-
Wow,what a let down.Just a bunch of random tracks slapped together.
-
yeah not feelin this album at all...lol

Some of ya judge too soon. I barely bump Wu material besides Masta Killa but damn don't prejudge until you hear it. Might be the best 30 minutes or the worst. Never know so don't worry about time length, just product quality. I'm a bump this later but i'm not expecting much cause like i said i'm not a huge wu listener.
-
Even meth and co. in interviews have said teh album is a disapointment because def jam rushed it.

Yeah, I read that but my point still stands. They judging time length over quality which is never a good thing.
-
Yeah some of my favorite albums of all time are less then 40 minutes long.
-
damn pro tools by gza beats this album by miles...that album is mad dope
you are missin out on some dope muzik for real...rza and gza are gods for real

why did they cut rae out of criminology?
-

Why do rappers still sign with Def Jam? Seems like whenever theres gonna be a good release they always have to fuck it up. & I know this album isn't goona work for me, every track lasts 2-3 minutes, seriously WTF?? Khadafi already tried this with "The Death of Tragedy" & it brought the whole album down.
-
I saw this yesterday noticed how many 2 mins songs on there, thought i must of been like a sample and didnt download it, thought i would wait til the entire album came out!
-
First half of this album bangs... then it falls off! Actual let down and not all three are on all the tracks... When you call it 'Meth Ghost and Rae' you expect them on all tracks... none of the guests added a damn thing either to tell the truth.
I love Wu music but I wont be paying for this shit! Go back to The RZA and kiss the fucking ring! They went on about making a classic if they branch away from him... well they fucked up!
They can blame execs all they like but they still let this shit hit the shelves so they are still to blame.
This is not hate filled. As I said I love Wu music but you can delete the second half of this after one play through...

Typical Def Jam. Probably thought they could capitalize off of the buzz Rae had with his album and throw something out there real quick. And this is super fast compared to how long we have to wait for a Meth and Ghost solos from the label at times.

I've bumped the majority of RZA. I just find RZA vocals barely tolerable.
-
On that note, here's some opinion on the album.
Method Man should hang up the mic. He sounds old. Too old. I can't believe people got angry when Budden said he was better because by god BUDDEN IS BETTER. He sounded sloppy and his rhymes were eh.
Ghostface sounded like papoose shouting all the time.
Raekwon was the only one who had smooth vocals.
I don't mind short tracks, and the production was pretty consistent.
-
rza is a different rapper and one to adjust too but hes dope even to this day...check the digi snax...i mean check the afro series he made....bangin....BANGIN SOUNDTRACK SERIES
gza's album is mad dope...he got his son on there...bangin album
u-god's album u-godzilla
i mean im from the west but you want wu....i got you on wu...and im still learnin about the wu... ;)

I have the majority of his solo releases on my i-pod and i bought digital bullets but I'm not going to force myself to like his vocals. I respect his time in the game, his skill, and his production both in the art, it's legacy, and his modern creations. I still find his voice to be off putting.
I just find the Wu (as a whole) to be overrated. I mean they're dope but when you got 5-8 people making an album it'd better be. Some of them barely have solo releases. I respect RZA the most for his production and then Raekwon for his vocals. As I said I love Masta Killa's work - it's just got a raw, pure soul to it. It's just me though
-
i respect that....you prolly listen to more of somethin than me listenin to rza, gza, and others...thats normal
but IMO rza is damn near amazin when it comes to makin muzik period...his rappin...is what it is not the best but id take it over many others out there and mos def over
method man, redman, ghostface, odb, and a couple others
maybe its him that brings the best outta big daddy kane and kool g rap...but damn they spittin on that afro soundtrack
-
It's funny you mention the afro soundtracks because those & the ghostdog ost I really dig from RZA. Then I appreciate the bobby digital series.
-
he made that series damn amazin....and thats why him not bein on ob4cl2 was such a letdown for the album that could have been a masterpiece...rza is for real top 3 producers of all time...ima even say top 2 and one day best and noone can do it better than him...hes a genius at this muzik shhh for real
the leftovers from his digi snax and afro series are crazy...jus the leftovers
the soundtracks he does are jus damn crazy and insane...
IMO this shows the wu aint nuthin without rza for the most part and u-god, ghostface suin him...lol

-
Can you hook me up with the leftovers from both series?
-
let me see how i can put it together...ima get you a list of songs...if noone has...bangin songs...IMO
-
damn this was a let down >:(
-
i picked this up yesterday, first listen it was a let down. Its 12 tracks but 2 are skits, They were better off calling this an EP. None of the tracks are over 4 minutes, youd think with 3 people making a CD youd have more to it. I feel like it was rushed, the cover/booklet is filthy though!
But after that fact set in, i started to dig it more. My favorites are:
Criminology 2.5
Pimpin Chipp
Miranda
Wu Shit
-
its an ok album. They could of done a better job with the song writing.

Yeah Miranda is my fav joint right now. Scram Jones is really making some dope beats that really sound great with the Wu members. Keeping my fingers crossed that we will not have to wait long for the follow up to this album.
-
I liked all of the tracks but the vibe of the album was kinda ruined by the fact that there are only 3-4 tracks that Meth, Rae, and Ghost were all actually on
and why was Raekwon taken off "Criminolgy 2.5"? would have made sense to leave his verse since its all 3 members' album
Def Jam is fuckin' up
-
so did the MADE MEn bonus track leak at all i checked on iTunes and bought my copy at Best Buy and havnt seen any one carry a bonus version? oh well
-
Dope album, too short (as most think lol). Favorite joint is "Our Dreams"
-
wtf 30 mins long :D
No 30 mins short. ;)
variant cover's looks good!
wich is your favourite?
-
This Album (EP) is really average, what a big disapointement, I was dispointed at first and try to give it couple more listens but it's definitely not what I expected
-
Im dissapointed.
I love Miranda though.

-
the album sucks. yes it does. some songs are cool though...waitin on a new Method Man album
-
they made themselves look bad when they were the ones sayin slaughterhouse aint shit on them...lol
-
I heard Ghost & Meth are done with def jam now and are redoing the wu-massacre on Rae's label now.

wouldn't be surprised. Def Jam really fucked this on up. Heard the reason of the lacking Rae verses is because DJ is/was to cheap to pay him, since he's the only non-def jam artist outta the three
-
Why did they put it out on Def jam in the 1st place. It blatently wasn't the right choice of label to release it on.
-
and they were hypin this album up to be classic...lol

most likely because both Meth and Ghost were signed there

That and they wanted to capitalize on the buzz and success of Raekwon's last album.

:o :o
Where have you heard?

my thoughts exactly

Just picked up my copy today. Anyone saying its a bad album is being a bit harsh because its still got heat on it. The problem this album has is expectations. Three great emcees on a Wu collabo album is always going to be met with equal love and distain. The Wu heads will love it no matter what and some people will never be happy.
Its an average album, no more, no less. The real issue I have with it is that it was clearly rushed and if it wasn't it could have been so much better.
