I'm pretty sure his new album just has a new title. The momentum for him is there, he's coming off a comeback year, a Grammy win for best rap album and he's been all over the place with guest features on songs with Wayne, Drake, etc.
I'm curious to hear the new material he's recorded with Just Blaze. I think Em's better off using different producers this time, he's got Just Blaze, Alchemist...DJ Khalil could lace him I'm sure. If he can get Mr. Porter on his A-game, on some Devil's Night type of vibe...

I have no idea how this fuckin album will end up. Khalil and J Blaze are of course great producers and it's dope for Em to put em in the album but Boi1da and Jim Jonsin? The Kiss me thru the Phone and Lollipop guy? Very commercial sound for what we were used from Eminem. Ah we'll see I guess. I hope Dre got some beats in there despite that we haven't had a word of them working together since last summer in Hawaii I think.
Oh and if they say June 22nd it's that. Em never pushes back his albums.

Eminem's dates always stick. Maybe a week or two push back but that's it. I'm excited as hell that he's working with different producers. Just Blaze, Khalil & Boi 1-Da are safe bets, Jim Jonsin worries me a bit.

To me the name of the album is almost completely a non-issue. Regardless of what he calls it, the people who hated "Relapse" will hate this next album. And the people who liked "Relapse" will like this next album. It's always the same when it comes to Eminem. You should know the drill pretty well by now. The songs that leak from this next album will each leak to initially rave reviews. And then very shortly after, half the people who originally gave them praise will turn on them and start talking about how wack they are. And the full album will follow suit in exactly the same way.
The reasons for this are two-fold: A. Simply put, Eminem isn't as good as he once was. And B. Even when Eminem does make a really good song, people are so critical of it they trash it anyway.
Mark my words, it happens this way every time....

All i would say about this though is that this is probably the best eminem has sounded in a minute, he sounds like he is able to spit again atleast and he has lost the accent recently. Whether he finds inspiration on the album though is another thing...its okay just spitting but he needs to make dope songs too...concepts, classics etc...
Nice to see him working with new producers though, i hope he dont fuck up there beats like he does dre ones though lol...
im looking forward to this...though i was looking forward to relapse after hearing dre produced the whole thing and that was wack so we'll see this time...

Boi-1da is sick. You know he'll have to bring his A-game for Em. Jim Jonsin is iffy. He is hit and miss for me. We;ll have to wait an see what happens there.
But we all know what Dre, Just Blaze, Khalil and Mr. Porter are capable of.

According to Eminem it's not really a concept album so while i want it to be one, it's not. Thus, Relapse was a failure because Eminem said it was him trying to be funny with punchlines and just rapping. He failed. If he had said it's a concept album then I would say he succeeded but alas I haven't heard him say that once.
Anyways, looking forward to Recovery. Em is one of the few that could make a modern day classic. Expecting greatness if not classic material.

^ the first 9 songs off BISD ? Maybe it's just me but I wasn't that big a fan of BISD, but I haven't really liked much of 50's music since GRODT. I'm not expecting Game to drop another Documentary but I think he'll bring some heat this time around.

Oh there's no doubt I think Krazy is easily one of if not the worst Game song I've ever heard! Big Money was pretty bad too. 'It Must Be Me' is a major improvement but like you said it's not up to par compared to some of his other singles. I'm waiting to see how 'Ain't No Doubt About it' sounds
