I would definitely second that...
RRGB was classic cause it was a Death Row release. what can I say? Death Row had the Midas Touch back then
RAW was surprisingly good. Daz produced all the tracks, and you just can't go wrong if he's on the boards. A hidden gem
TLIL was str8 crap, because we're introduced to beats by Mike Dean. OK, granted, Daz is still tight on the mic, but the production was waaaaaaay weak, and that bitch Tanya Herron sucks.
"I got Love..." I didn't even bother listening to it, cause so many people trashed it, and the tracklisting doesn't look too appealing anyways
I'm not expecting much from Daz anymore... he's washed up for me. His indy label isn't going anywhere, and frankly, I'm expecting the same trash from "Black Phantom" that I got from TLIL, and his weak ass compilations. Daz, Mike Dean & Tanya Herron?? Talk about a bullshit group!
Well, I'm pretty convinced that Daz can't make it ALONE. The reason he was tight up to RAW was cause he had Snoop and/or Kurupt with him. Not cause he sucks alone, but somehow, Snoop and/or Kurupt gave him a certain confidence or passion to rap/produce REALLY well. I hope I'm making sense. Now you might argue, "he came tight on TLIL", that's cause he's letting his frustrations out, but when those frustrations die out, he won't be as good anymore.
The point I'm trying to make is... Daz has proved that he could run a label by himself, and for a while, he was doing very good, with tight albums like RAW and Dillinger & Young Gotti, but it's time to hang it up now. Let's face it, DPG Recordz is dead if Mike Dean & Tanya Herron are the only ones by Daz's side. The Westcoast needs unity now, cause they're really suffering, and so Daz should go back to his family... Doggystyle Records. it's where he belongs, man. I mean, it was good while it lasted, but it's time to move on, and stop with this indy bullshit.

don't base ur opinions on daz for "i got love..."
they're most likely jus old/unreleased tracks thrown on a cd...not even mastered/mixed and not much effort put into it
jus like the latest dpg release, he jus wanted to put somethin out quickly, for some reason

1. Revenge, Retaliation, Get Back
2. This Life I Lead
3. R.A.W.
4. I Got Love In These Streetz

I am a huge DPG fan, but all DPG Recordz releases are trash. I bought Raw and Dillinger and Gotti, but they were wack as hell and I am never going to buy anything from Daz again. The sound and beats are amateurish and corny, and the lyrics suck. Besides, I want to hear Daz rapping with Snoop, Nate, Kurupt, RBX etc, not C Style, PFN, etc

Sure you're not talking about "To Live and Die In CA" ?

This Life I Lead

R.A.W for sure... next up would be "This Life I Lead" but that's not even that close to R.A.W in my opinion... it's got a few bangers but I got tired of it fairly quick... which was a first for me with a Daz cd...
