Why no Joey? ???

I guess they recorded multiple songs then because Joey was hyped with the song he recorded with Em.

Both sound like they're going to fuckin' ill though. 8)

my guess is because of joeys contract. The owner of his label is denying his appearance most likely.Which is fucked up if true,I mean joey was just featured on the new kutt calhoun album.

That's fucked up, damn.

Joey said he came through on that verse; now we really need to put him on some suicide watch. :P

Yeah.  I'm guessing Amalgam blocked the appearance.  Hopefully, eventually they'll get all that shit hashed out.  At least we'll get the other three on a track with Em, for now.

Well won't they eventually just leak the track with Joey after the one for the album drops?

So I mean, we'll get it; Joey just won't get the shine on the album.

I hope they do, but who knows.  Would be great to hear it as it was intended.

That's true, but people will likely buy it & won't hear Joey; but who cares lol.

That is exactly what is happening.  Amalgam want to be included in any endeavors with Shady Records, and will cockblock Muffins until The Great Escape comes out and he can leave the label.  The deal he signed has them  having to sign off on all projects he is a part of that pertain to Joe getting money.  Amalgam get money off the Calhoun feature.  Amalgam get money off the Slaughterhouse album on Koch.  Obviously Shady and Joe don't want Amalgam involved in this deal.  Joe/Amalgam will have to release 'The Great Escape' before Joe or Slaughterhouse (w/ Joe in it) will be able to put out a song or album via Shady that can be sold.  Yes, that include iTunes.

You would think a major label would be able to convince Amalgam to back the fuck up; I guess not though.

Yeah.  Ordinarily, you would think they'd be able to just pay them off, but I'm guessing Amalgam is holding out for an amount that's outrageous.  It's a pretty shitty situation.

Joe is the only artist with any relevancy on that label,he IS that label. So of course their going to fight tooth and nail for him without him they have nothing.

wow 'Ridaz' is ridicolous!!! this track is easily better than anything on the Recovery LP, Em sounds way more natural, freaking the beat nice and Dre (he shouts him out?) drops a serious head nodding beat!!!

edit: slaughterhouse tune is pretty dope too, i heard them come better, beat doesn't suit joell or crooked too great. real head nodding and throwback tho 8)

I don't get why he didn't just throw these on the album.

I hope the Joey version leaks. :P

EDIT: LOL @ Crooked's last line.

Glad he's not yelling at me on Session One.  Joell & Crooked straight killed that shit.

Edit:

If there is a next track with Eminem Budden should open on the track.

Actually this track would have been a semi dope intro for a slaughterhouse album

Both tracks are fire.

yeah its pretty damn straight, the track itself is easily one of the best, perhaps the best, from relapse/recovery. combination of dark, head nodding dre beat and eminem rapping without the extreme accent or yelling. vintage shit 8)

the m4a's from itunes are only 256kbps, so converting to wav and then up converting them to 320kbps will actually make them sound worse if anything

the m4a's from itunes are only 256kbps, so converting to wav and then up converting them to 320kbps will actually make them sound worse if anything

the audio stream is high bitrate AAC though and at that bitrate is equal to or better than 320kbps MP3 quality. so quality should more or less the same. using .wav inbetween just stops it being directly transcoded, which can affect quality.

"AAC actually takes more space than it claims, and sounds better than equivalent bit rates of MP3. For example, a 128kbps AAC file is about as good as a 160kbps MP3 file, but they'll both actually take up about the same space.

That would be to say that a 256kbps (minimum average) VBR AAC file will have an average sound better than a 320kbps MP3, but will be more efficient than a standard 256kbps AAC."
