Today is a lucky day for fans of Hip Hop music. www.AftermathMusic.com has found the original version of the song “Flashy” which is performed by former Aftermath artist Bishop Lamont. A later version of the song leaked online a few months back with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg laying the vocals. Also, Bishop's vocals are phenomenal on this. None of that "lazy, I don't give a fuck" flow that's used so often on his mixtape mateiral. Nice pronunciations, nice delivery. I can only imagine what the Reformation is like.

This is a dope track, dark, simple... I prefer Bishop's version to the one with Snoop, though that was cool too
Bishop's sense of humor makes it dope, so it's not some trying-to-be-cool I'm "flashy" stuff, it's done in a more fun way, but still hard

Oh word? Never though Afrika was that amazing but interesting to see it was on the album, I'm sure a lot of the Confessional were from a version of The Reformation. We never got a good quality version of "If You Don't Know The Code" did we?

I aint diggin either version. Both be average at best. The beat is wack, sounds like a cheap imitation uncomplete dre 2005 dre beat with an amateur piano player and bishop just aint doing shit for me often. He actually sounds aite on this but not to a point where i can check it ever again.

Bishop's delivery is so weak. And it's better on this one than it usually is. I can only listen to Bishop on the pc, if I play his music when on go to sleep on my mp3 player I doze off immediately, you can't have him as a background music when you're chilling with friends (everybody tells you to play the next song), his beats bang in the car but again his delivery is off putting. It's a shame because he's a great songwriter with a different sound but I can look past it anymore.

hit potential is one thing, but according to Bishop, Dre didn't even like the song.

Grow Up is dope. I might understand Dre not liking it. The sample of William Bell's I Can Be Your Lover piano notes has been done quite a bit now. It's on Imagine as well and another track off The Confessional, The Name.
Flashy is a decent track. It's not mind blowing. It isn't bad, just kind of there. His flow is on point and I like the sarcastic delivery.
