I prefered the sound at the beginning of the song. Like someone above said, the hook is real good. Song is more of an eminem dedication to Dre if you listen closely. I guess you need to be radio friendly to sell records huh? But song is not to bad, could be massive.

damn, it feels good. These singles are way better than the little come back they did erly 2009 with "crack a bottle", "we made you"...
The features on both singles for dre's come back were very predictable, but can't complain on this !!
And lol at alex da kid in the video, "best track of the last 10 years", dude was tripping.
I still prefer that "preformation" snippet though in terms of musical direction.

Didn't really love the song... but I could really picture this being a single and video if there's a re-release of Recovery, and a pretty fucking huge one too. Too boost the sales of Recovery, and prepare the world for Detox. Universal (with all their sub-labels) have been doing this alot lately, pushing huge collabos with two or more huge artists to coincide with multiple releases. Jay Z/Alicia Keys and Eminem/Rihanna is the obvious ones that comes to mind.

Good track, would fit as a intro to "Detox" pretty much.. beat was kinda dissapointed at first when i heard its a "Detox" track, couse i expected some fat banger, but this is real good production, that fits to the whole song, with nice hook, and dope lyrics. I see this big.
Also, if you look at it, not like a radio song, just as a piece of art, its good. Just dont look at it with hate in your eyes.

The beat is ok. I've never heard a hook from Liz Rodrigues or anyone in The New Royales that didn't blow me away :o Anyone who doesn't like this hook is out there fucking mind.
This is definitely a #1 single. Even though it's for the re-release, they need to shoot a video for this ASAP.

the joint don't really fit imo...his flow is pretty dope, i give him that, i like it. But I don't think eminem can really flow to a joint like this with it looking like it blends, i think lil wayne could have killed the beat much better, his weird voice would have blended with the craziness of the beat.
This alex da kid cat is kinda versatile, i havent really heard much of his tracks but none sound like they have a certain sound to them yet...maybe because i have not heard enough of him i guess. I like dres verse, def written by eminem.

Yo this shit is dope, it sounds really badly mixed though, and that warping sort of sound that comes in every now and then just fucks the vocals up. This shit needs a waaayyy better mix on it, could see the song being huge and a perfect lead in for Detox.

it's cool but hell no for "Detox". this is an Eminem album cut all day. I'd be mad 4 life if Dre went the whole "Recovery" route 4 Detox (huh?). it sounds to depressing and popish and too much like an Eminem record (in fact it's the perfect Eminem record). really they could've kept this song in the vaults and saved it for their own personal mixes i'm sure they got. tha subject is way too off for a Dr. Dre album cut. i like the beat, i love the hook and the singer, and i loved how they told a story but all in all for what it's worth I can do without it. sell tha shit on i-Tunes or something.

Looks like it could be official, but if it is, it would seem to indicate that this is not a "Detox" track. While I'd be kind of relieved to find out that it wasn't, I'd have to wonder why Eminem would be releasing a single right now. There doesn't appear to be a new Eminem album coming out any time soon. I suppose it could be from a compilation or something, but who knows. Interesting find, at any rate.
