West Coast rapper Game has commented on the sales of Lloyd Banks' new Hunger For More 2 LP and applauded his former G-Unit groupmate's chart achievement.
Via Twitter, Game publicly pointed out to Banks' chart performance.
"Shout out to @lloydbanks for coming in #25 on soundscan the 1st week selling 45,188 copies with the new album. I knew u could do it champ !," Game tweeted Wednesday (December 1).
"Again, I'm not hating.... I'm encouraging EVERYONE to go out & cop @lloydbanks new album "SMH2" Oops, I meant "HFM2"... my bad sport" (Game's Twitter)
Banks' album charted in the Top 50 after one week in stores.
G-Unit member Lloyd Banks' Hunger For More 2 debuted on the chart this week finding a spot at No. 26. After seven days in stores, the "Punch Line King's" newest solo effort managed to sell 44,500 records. (SOHH Sales Wrap)

Yeah there's no denying that Game has had more success pertaining to sales. I just found it stupid that he was saying that when Banks released a huge single and all of the shit Game has dropped that's supposedly red album material has been pretty sub par.

Its a known fact that Game cant do it on his own, remember his stuff with JT Bigga Figga, nobody gave a fuck about the dude. He can be thankful for his period at Aftermath and G Unit, that is what made him popular. He is still living of that. Look at the situation today with all his connections, all the producers, features, he cant release his album.

Game will probably sell around 70-90K first week if he puts out a single on the same level of "Game's Pain" and "My Life"
with that being said, he sure as hell can still sell more than Banks in first week and overall sales, but that's God willing his album actually sees a release date

I liked it. His blue friday track were dope too and many should've been included on the album. There was a club track too many and the bonus cuts on i-tunes and fye could have easily replaced a cut or two from the album but it was solid.
I don't think it should have been called Hunger For More 2 though. It didn't really capture the mindstate of wanting more ... to me, at least.

Game also subliminally offered to help Banks' pen game via Twitter.

Im a game fan but shits getting mad boring now. The album was pretty wack tho struggle to listen to banks his voice is unlistenable to me anyway.

HFM2 has a couple of good tracks musically, but most was borderline decent/garbage, and banks voice is annoying as hell. I think banks cd(the few songs that are good) was somthing that was new and refreshing when it 1st dropped, but its true replay value is weak.

Agreed. Banks needs a lil more complicated beats so he can flex off his various rhyme schemes. Too many dope tracks since Rotten Apple that should have been included:
