Title: Aliens: Men of the future?
Post by: MontrealCity's Most on December 29, 2010, 03:13:19 PM
Someone brought this theory up to me the other day about how Aliens are the human race in the future.

Could it be true?

WE've come from aliens isn't that unlikely.

Not that I believe it. But its probably more likely than some of the other braindead theories (religion).

No, just wondered if you ever even researched your theory. I actually research many crazy theories about aliens and religion, because of moments like this.

I have no idea why I'm even explaining this, but I will... and it does have to do with the Bible and every other holy text that deals with Angels and Gods (most all of them around the Middle East).

Now long time ago, we were visited by aliens trying to find certain medals on different planets, which were important to them. One medal is gold, not because it's pretty, but because it's one of the best medals in transferring electricity that can be found. So aliens landed on this planet to mine it for gold. But what they needed was a labor race to actually do the mining and the digging. Enter humans. What was found on this planet was pre-historic man, so the aliens genetically made us more intelligent so that we can take orders. Around the globe, if you look at evolution evidence, pre-evolution man  migrated around the globe, but with Neanderthals in Europe, Homosapiens in Africa and Homoerectus in Asia, how did they all evolve at the same time to make modern man?

So the theory states that aliens came down and genitally altered us in their image so that they can use us to mine the world of metals for them. Each major religion also speaks of gods, or angels, coming down from the skys. Even Judaism talks about, in the book of Genesis which is the Jewish book of creation, "angels" coming down from the heavens and even mating with our women, creating super humans. The Greek religions are full of stories of "gods" coming down to interact with people. Go all the way to India and you'll find the same thing with Hinduism. Ancient religions around the world also say the same thing. This leads many to believe that it wasn't gods or angels that came down, but aliens.

Now there is a ton more, but that's the basic outline. Do I believe in that, no, I'm pretty Catholic. Down I still pay attention, anyone would be a fool not to at least thing about the possibility that God doesn't exist and their might be other answers. At the end though, I still hold on to my Catholic faith.

If you believe the ancient aliens theory, it doesn't mean God doesn't exist.  It just means that several aspects of the bible are lies / wrong.

Also, you are basically talking about Zachariah Sitchin and Annunaki / Sumerian Tablets.  That is a theory, and one of many.

The Catholic Church is evil bro.  The fucking Pope was / is a Nazi.  He has admitted this.  The only reason you are Catholic is because of the Spanish Inquisition.  I'm not knocking that either, I was raised Catholic and the majority of my family is as well.

I dig these ancient alien theories. There's a guy in Queensland, Australia who claims he woke up one night having a threesome with two White mongoloid blonde haired alien bitches. He managed to bite one of their boobies and get a DNA sample. Apparently they panicked and vanished after he did this, but he got the DNA tested and the result sure enough showed it was very rare, the rarest human DNA  from a rare White blonde mongoloid asiatic bitch. Human history is full of alien encounters. They probably need our DNA because they get soft and weak from all the space travel.

My theory is that back in ancient times they loved to fuck or experiment with themselves and humans and animals and didnt care too much about leaving their offspring scattered all over the earth, partly becus they were proud of them, but after-awhile a sort of treaty among the the various aliens became essential because it was getting out of hand and messy, so now whenever they create a new hybrid they must not leave it on the earth, they have to remove it. You can discern this change when u look at Egyptian and Greek myths there was a lot of fucking going on between the 'gods' and humans, but after the great flood in the bible, 'god' forbid unions between 'angels' and humans. Also, kind of like as our ethics developed so did theres and vice versa, to the point where they recognise that we have a strong claim to the earth as it's somewhat original inhabitants that must be taken into account, even if not entirely respected. Seeing these things is incredibly terrifying in itself, even if the creatures are benevolent (like us their personalities are diverse). This fearful predisposition to the unknown acts as a kind of censorship, promoted by the media, because even if u meet one of these incredible creatures it would become hard to have any real meaningful experience because of the wall of icy fear that first hits you.

I've heard we've come from aliens, I've heard about Nazi's in space, now I hear aliens are time travelers. Okay... I seriously think people smoke way too much weed.

No one is stating anything as fact the way you ignorant christians do your theories, people are just suggesting possibilities for the sake of discussion.

The fact is we know nothing about whats out there, so why should you get to say that your insane sounding beliefs about our origins (christianity) hold more weight than aliens? Very hypocritical.

According to everything we can prove based on scientific evidence, Aliens actually make far more sense lol

Either way, the most intelligent comment someone can make about our origins is..."I dont know".

The thing is...one thing we DO know, is  that WE exist. We know what allows us to live, and what kills us. I'm guessing you do believe that there are other planets, and other solar systems, and other galaxies...etc. Based on what we actually already know about ourselves, its pretty realistic to assume that there COULD be life on another planet. When it comes to a Virgin Mary Apparition....or...God, that actually defies logic.

Oh god... the convo has broken down.

Side note, no one can prove God, no one can prove aliens. BUT, many of the Bible stories are historically accurate, but the origin story was basically unrealistic. Now some people laugh at the sex with aliens, that comes because in most ancient holy text, there is reports of angels having sex with people and making super people. Even in the Bible.

 Genesis 6 verses 1 and 2 state:

"Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose."

Genesis 6 verses 4 - 6:

"There were giants (Nephilim) on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them.  Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.  Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart."

Many ancient religions say something similar. So these events are recorded for a reason by other religions and people too, because there is a strong chance they happened. Now when many people say they saw something, and felt it important enough to write down, we should listen. Now the Alien theory states they did not have sex with angels, but aliens. So who knows.

I do know this, living my life I know there is a God. I have seen things that can only be explained as a miracle. I'm not here to convert people, I would have tried along time ago if that was my mission. But I know what I've lived and I know there is a God. I am lucky enough to have God prove himself to me, and there is even some scientific evident that prove the power of prayer. Not enough to prove theirs a God, but enough to prove that maybe religion helps the brain if anything. Oh well.

"Thank god" not everyone thinks that way man. Imagine how much shit we would have NEVER figured out, if we just assumed everything too complex at the time, was a miracle.

This. And this. And this.

Has a skeptic scientist thrown a theory out about why 'the power of prayer' or praying to an invisible nobody in the sky has beneficial effects? If it's NOT the typical 'coincidence' or a self-manipulation excuse, I'd love to hear the theory. ;D

And as for miracles, I'm still waiting for an atheist to explain Jesus's. I still wanna hear how a man from the 1st century raised the dead in front of a crowd of people, turned water to wine at a wedding, healed the blind with hundreds standing behind him and how a dead man in a tomb, in a cave, with a boulder, walked outta that. Shoot, I just wanna know how a man tortured like hell could even lift a finger, let alone the top of a sepulcher, my God. Let me hear just one theory to them miracle(s). I only ask for one.

People think it helped so they feel better, simple psychology.

As for the miracles, that was 2000 years ago. It's not sure whether they happened and if it did happen it probably wasn't impressive until about a thousand years of changing the story to make it look more impressive.

I do know this, living my life I know there is a God. I have seen things that can only be explained as a miracle.

"Thank god" not everyone thinks that way man. Imagine how much shit we would have NEVER figured out, if we just assumed everything too complex at the time, was a miracle.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstein

As I've said, just because I believe in god does not make me one of those nuts who wants evolution thrown out of school and Harry Porter books buried. Science has the answers, but that does not make God less a factor in life.

We as humans have this need to understand everything. but the universe is so big and so vast we can' possible know everything, or understand it. We can recite the planets in our solar system, but can not fathom the extreme size of the place in which we live. If we did, we'd understand how small and puny we really are. We cannot understand even our own planet, as Earth is really 4.5 billion years old. Thing of this, we think of Earth as this  great planet to live, and right now it is. But for most of Earth's existence there was nothing. We didn't even get shell fish until 570 million years ago. So for 3.9 billion years, that's most of Earth's existence, there was no life. If we were ever visited by aliens, more than likely they saw a vast watery planet that had nothing but potential for life, the odd of them seeing life was small. There are planets out there that are hundreds of billions of years older than Earth. We cannot not even to begin to understand how old everything is. To dismiss it as God is to be dumb, but to think this proves there is no God just because we can't understand it all is to also be dumb, because we can't even understand what we know exist.

This. And this.

LOL at Asians being aliens. :D
People think it helped so they feel better, simple psychology.

As for the miracles, that was 2000 years ago. It's not sure whether they happened and if it did happen it probably wasn't impressive until about a thousand years of changing the story to make it look more impressive.

It's funny how ya'll put 100% trust into a scientist like we do a scholar.

..Than we get ridiculed for it, lol. Anyways..

Do you realize how many scholars in Biblical studies there are? And how many of them go over thousands upon thousands of manuscripts? And how they figure authenticity or fraud? Etc. Scholars of all kinds. All kinds.

LOL at it wasn't impressive. Do you know how these disciples of Jesus died?? Somethang hada be quite impressive for these men do be willing to die the violent deaths they did. Beaten, stoned, crucified, beheaded. Alllll before the 1000 year period you mention. So that blows that theory outta the water my dude. LOL, son, they happened, they just can't be explained. Why the hell you think Jesus WAS crucified, my nigga, come on!!

Man, your argument here must not be directed at me...cus it doesnt really touch on what I said lol. I didnt say there IS no God. Never have. I responded to you saying that you have "seen things that could ONLY be described as a miracle". What I said was, that if everyone thought that way...we would simply take everything that is innexplainable, and call it a miracle. If I took a flashlight far enough back in time, guaranteed SOMEONE would see it as a miracle. I would be the "Giver of Light"!. I did not say that there IS no god, I also dont believe that there IS a god. I am willing to say I dont know. But the burden of proof isnt on me. I am not trying to convince anyone of one way or the other. Simply that we dont know. And we dont. Thats why it is called "faith".

Shit is never that black and white, of course it isn't the only cause.
Magicians can do some pretty miraculous tricks, should I worship them to?

Jesus was crucified because the religion he was spreading didn't allow the presence of the roman emperor as a god.

Miracles disprove God more then they prove him, if God was so perfect why would he create a world where miracles were required.

Obviously someone who has not read the Bible. The Bible is full of God making people suffer. The Catholic church it's self is full of suffering for one reason or another. There is need for miracles because the world is imperfect, God created a world in which people have free will. In political terms, God is like a Republican, let the market dictate the economy, or let the people decide their own fate. People though pray and ask for things. God said I will listen to your prayers, ask and you shall receive. I know personally what I asked for, and it was a miracle, and I received it. No magicians with their smoke and mirrors could deliver this, I was not asking for a rabbit out of a hat. If you have not seen the wonders of God, then I cannot explain it to you, but it's out there and it's real.

Where are miracles required?

Jesus was NOT spreading religion homie.

And Jesus never said worship him.

Obviously someone who has not read the Bible.

Notice how Atheists only go after Christianity cuz they are somewhat 'similar with it'. If there's any religion they should have a problem with it should be Islam. But instead they go after The Bible, and make it look like it's some kind of index of Mother Goose fairytales. :grumpy: When they haven't even read it. They just hear popular stories from it. Talk about Hearsay hmmm. Lol.

There are Biblical cities and tribes of people nobody would have known about had it not been mentioned in this Book. We're getting history from EYEWITNESS accounts. No McDougal Littell bullshit in there. :D

MDogg, you should look into the difference between Spirituality vs. Religion.  Religions are hypocritical cults used to enslave and divide people while simultaneously tricking those people into giving them money.  Plus it's basically a network for old decrepit white men to fuck little boys.  The Vatican helps cover this up by transferring priests around that come under fire.  It is a systemic and fundamental cornerstone of that particular cult.

And what is up with Catholics eating Jesus' body and drinking his blood every sunday?  Like seriously, what the fuck is that about.  That's called cannibalism.  Shout outs to Jeffrey Dahmer.

Spirituality is still a personal connection with God / Creator / Intelligent Infiniti whatever you wanna call it.  But you don't have to give your money away, get fucked in the ass by an old man, or do ritualistic cannibalism once a week.

Almost all Christians do that shit though, Jrome. I think Catholics are the only ones that use unleavened wafer type shits and actual wine. They all sophisticated bout it. Cuz other Churches I been at uses bread or lil graham bites and grape juice. Lutheran's use actual wine too though I think.

It ain't cannibalism my nigga lol, Jesus said do that in 'memory' of him. ;D

Quote from: Book of Mark
And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

Religion I'll admit has it's faults. It's run by man, and anything man is imperfect. Simple as that. It still does not make the existence of God or Jesus less.

Oh well.

Yes, lots of people carry latent tendencies that reflect symptoms of schizophrenia, this is why cannabis can be harmful and that religion is so popular. Some struggle to discern between reality and fantasy...You know, observing patterns, conspiracies, miracles etc...It's all relative.
