I am listenin to Thug N Me OG ft Jewell by Pac. and his vocals were never as perfect as say gay z snoop or 50 cent, his voise when he talked was like he was on the phone and u can hear him spitting and breathin in some of his raps. wot im sayin is Pac's vocals and raps were never cleaned he just rapped one take, and that was good enough, he was a realest rapper.
all of his songs were better than any other rappers in the game today
will there every be a rapper nearly as good as Pac?

Obviously not. The industry has gone from rapping your story & thoughts about the World to listening to what record label executives tell you to put out; which isn't close to what Pac rapped about.
Could there be a better rapper? I guess it would ignorant to say no. Realer? Probably not. Those days are behind us. Even if one came up, he would switch his style when he realized "being real" doesn't sell at all.

It's all about perspective. Pac touched a lot of people with his music but the problem is a lot of these hardcore fans will never give anyone else their due like that because there's so much nostalgia wrapped up in there too. I'm not saying a lot of today's rappers are all that but 90% of the people who were Pac fans back in the day are not even trying to be open-minded about today's music. That reality debate doesn't work for me. Most of the Pac fans are in for the glossed-over image of Pac, not necessarily the reality. I'd argue you have the same problem as a lot of the naysayers. You only want one side of the issue. You call Pac "real" because the so-called reality works for you. However, if you have an artist that is conceited and egotistical, that might also be real. Like a Kanye West or 50 Cent for example. Or one of these rappers that's staright-up ignorant. Do we want real or to we want the appearance of truth in a comfortable package? That's the problem I have with the "real" thing. As it is, the Pac comparisons need to stop. There will never be another Tupac Shakur. That's not to say that hip-hop is not a diverse enough culture for someone equally great in their own way to come along. I just think the average Pac fan is looking for someone to fill that exact void and it's never going to happen.

Lyrics dont make a rapper. Theres SOOO much more to it than just good lyrics. Of course now the lyrics mean absolutely nothing at all, but you cant judge the best rapper of all time on lyrics. That would be the best lyracist of all time, which we all know Pac was not (but don't tell me he wasn't a good one). The thing about Pac is that not only did he have it ALL in terms of rapping, he was also at the absolute top of the game (popularity wise, radioplay, celebrity status, idol figure) at the same time. I know a lot of people cry when Pac is compared with Biggie, but to me (I hate to bring this up here, and I mean no disrespect as these are two of my favourites) you really can't even compare the two as RAPPERS, lyracists yes, but not rappers.
That being said, just by listening to any of Pac's good, great, or even decent tracks, you can tell he put 110% ino them. When he dissed someone, you felt his anger on the record. When he rapped about his life, you knew it. Even tracks like Picture Me Rollin were just so much "realer" than most of the shit since.
So when it comes down to it, I guess it all depends on what your criteria is for a good rapper, or even the "best" rapper.

Shit, i have no clue who it is because when it comes to lyrics, you can name a million guys from the mainstream to the underground. The whole slaughterhouse is deadly, Canibus, Eminem, Wu-tang, Nas, Papoose, Rakim, etc, etc etc (toooo many to name). It doesn't take much to be a better rapper than 2Pac. Plus he wasn't really the realest rapper hip hop's ever had, the guy signed to Death Row Records how real could he possibly be? Dude's songs carried a powerful meaning and he could paint a good picture in his songs, but in the end he's still the same guy who was doing ballet in school and starting his career as a back-dancer yet claimed thug-life this and thug-life that. Dude's death and overhyped beef with Biggie makes everyone forget that.
If I were to nominate someone who's a better rapper and more "realer" than Pac, I'd say Freddie Gibbs.

I like this here! Master of ceremonie is right! I like people who are deep with their lerics and Pac was! Was he a real gangta? And he later got the opportunity to become one by fucking with Suge's camp which led him to his own death.
Pac had the whole package though, he could do everything. He could be lyrical. He could flow. He got his point across like nobody. His music encompassed pretty much every subject matter. And I think if he was still alive he would have graduated to another full-time occupation. He would either have gone politics, kinda like Master P but on a more radical way, or he would have stuck with acting. But we all know that if he had survived Sept. 7's shooting, he would have been killed shortly after. He was too involved in the gang wars that were raging in Compton then.
