Title: How about a Dr. Dre & Lil B track?
Post by: Blood$ on March 02, 2011, 12:36:01 PM
not bad of an idea IMO as long as Lil B doesn't do his usual "hoes on my dick swag swag" lyrics and something more like this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VICvyKJnHDg

thoughts? even though I know my karma will take some hits since not too many people here like Based God lol

This dude's on another level, imo. Yeah, you really gotta sift through a lot of nonsense in his library. Though, I like that he's having fun with it. Don't need to be serious 24/7. Reminds me a bit of Digital Underground with those goof off tracks. Guy is really versatile, too. Can flip the switch with ease. But, like someone said above, I like that he's doing it his way. Doesn't need outside help to give him a push. Dre and all these vets from the past did it on their own, now it's time for someone like Lil B to come along and change the game his way.

Difference between Digital Underground and Lil' B is DU had some talent where as Lil' B is devoid of it.

Considering detox is shaping up to be a project where dre showcases some other producers they should definitely hit the studio together.
The westcoast has been relying on dre for the past 20 years, it's time for him to pass the torch.

Truth hurts?  The whole world was laughing at the Bay for that hyphy shit.  The idiots decided to have their version of crunk and lost.  Look at any Bay rapper's career right now who attached himself to hyphy in 2005-06.  They're all nowhere to be found.  Their careers are in the toilet (Ya Boy, Mista Fab, E40, Keek, etc.)  It's impossible for people to take them seriously after that.  Hyphy was the most pathetic attempt at going mainsteam any region has ever done.

You don't know anything about the bay. You don't know anything about hyphy, except what you read on the internet. You don't know where it started, you don't know where it came from. Your "favorite rapper" is from the bay so anything you speak on is null and void. The bay said fuck a bitch, the bay put that pimp in your step. We let you take our style and run with it. We taught you how to get that paper. Hell, the bay even taught you wiggers how to troll properly. So take your crumbcake eating, high heel wearing, pussyfoot stepping self away from your keyboard for one sec, crawl back under your bridge and wait for your next "victim"

Know plenty about the Bay since i've lived half of my life there.  By the "favorite rapper" you mean that Hammer shit i posted in another thread?  C'mon, you don't think i was serious with that, do you?  When i think of the corniest, least respected rapper in the history of hip hop, Hammer immediately comes to mind.  So that's who i put down as my favorite rapper as a joke.  Of course it's no surprise the corniest dude ever would be from the bay.
ALL you Bay dudes do is bitch, whine and complain about being overlooked, not getting the credit, etc.  Just read the latest E-40 interview.  A bunch of nobodies sitting around feeling sorry for themselves.  It got OLD quick.  No one is feeling sorry for you.  There were other parts of the country that used to be overlooked.  Miami, Houston, Atlanta.  They didn't complain, they went out and did it.
Oh and as for taking "your" style, why the fuck would i want to look and sound like a fucking clown?

Well at one point that mac dre shit was good but i also agree they are nowhere to be found. Furthermore the bay never really made dope muzik per say post e40s last successful era. All their muzik sounds the same and alot of its wack. Now before anyone comes back and says well shit what makes la different (since theres always been this bay-la beef) la got wack artists to but we got more to offer than the bay or any region imo

You aren't up on bay music. Our hip hop scene is just as diverse as other regions if not more. You would know this if you were into the scene. We've got everything.

How are you going to hate when LA jacked our style to get mainstream success? We gave you Pac. Snoop got all his catchphrases from the bay. But that was all good as long as credit is given where its due. But now you're jealous of your cousin because we finally got a little bit of mainstream attention? And what's worst of all is that you assume those few songs that got airplay are what define our region. If I were ignorant of scenes I would be saying that the Jerking shit is what LA music is like. Yeah son, like I'm supposed to be embarrassed about us having some music based on thizzing and wildin out at clubs when you've got dudes dressed in skinny jeans doing circle jerks. Lmao

But how come rappers like yukmouth, ya boy etc...all jackin/jockin our style but u wont bring that up but youll bring up we took your style? how many legends does bay area have? Now count la's legends? You gave us pac? Pac made his own id so you didnt give him to us. Baltimore gave him to you. Where he live the most? Thats comedy to this day bay is tryin to ride off of pacs success cuz you cant ride off anyone else of your own otherwise y bring up you gave us pac? He said he got luv 4 oakland but its "2 live and die in la" btw even one of your recent greats locksmith is talkin shit abotu the bay/hyphy and where he from? Lol

Yukmouth and Ya Boy? Who's style did those two take? And don't even get me started on Pac. We molded him into the great rapper he became. He went to LA and started making pop songs. And then you LA niggaz got him involved in stupid shit and killed him.

You lose boyo. Our fad was dudes at sideshows getting high out of their fucking mind and generally not giving a fuck. Your fad is kids dressed like girls and dancing like ballerinas. I don't care if you personally fuck with that, but that's what's hot right now. You oughta be ashamed of your city.

Come here running your mouth like you know the bay and I guarantee I can give you a list of names you don't fuck with. The whole Heiroglyphics Collective, Zion I, L*Roneous, Mystic, Blackalicious, The Frontline, The Jacka, DaVinci (not one LA album from 2010 fucked with his album). Who can fuck with that? Well you spend a couple months going through their discographies then come back and tell me. Nigga please.

the Bay is not all hyphy and it damn sure isn't that "jerk" bullshit, just stop posting cuz you really have no idea what you're talking about and are obviously ignorant to Bay area music, just naming off some rappers you might have heard of from there and the ones that you did name don't even make that kind of music

This is some hilarious shit Spice Two.  You said "we" (who are we btw?) are jelous because the bay got some mainstream attention.  But that's just the thing.  It didn't even get that.  Crunk, which your cornball asses tried to immitate, at least sold and was pupular.  Nobody gave a shit about your bullshit gimmick.  Like i said before the country was laughing at you idiots even then.  Btw, you mentioned Tupac.  Well, he left the Gay as soon as he could.  He knew people don't take the Bay seriously.  To be taken seriously he had to go somewhere else.

And i assure you NOBODY wants to steal your style.  Why the fuck would anybody want to do that?  You'll sound and look like retards.  Everytime Yukmouth or E-40 or Keak open their mouths they sound like somebody who just escaped from a mental institution.  Yadadamean?  Are you fucking kidding me?  Spongebob backpacks?  Nobody gives a shit about your little corner of the world.  Accept it and move on.  Of course you won't.  You're so asshurt that you actually put some comment you made in your sig.

Unlike the new west, rappers from the bay actually release albums. Where's the Crooked I album? Where's the Nipsey album? Where's the Bishop album? Where's the glasses album?

So your dudes get signed to Aftermath and Death Row or whatever, get some attention and then never release shit. Whoopty whoop. Majors ain't where its at anymore. Any fool can tell you that. Your dudes will stay as whores for the mainstream, desperately trying to get some buzz and delaying projects infinitely. Meanwhile I've got albums to listen to. You have fun with that.

Bay niggas don't have to whore themselves out to get attention from the OGs. The love from Too Short/E-40 etc. is there but our new rappers don't cry and complain about someone not putting them on. Meanwhile your new west niggas stay getting their feelings hurt and lashing out at the OGs cuz Cube, Snoop and Dre could give a fuck about them. How do you have anything to say when even your LA legends say there's no talent there?

There's some truth 2 that but California as a whole does seem a little insecure nowadays.  I mean I haven't really heard too much complaining recently (past year) but that did use 2 blow me when every rapper outta Cali was acting like they were being blackballed when in reality they were just wack and weren't that good in the 1st place.

But then again ALL rappers do that from time 2 time (older and newer and from ALL coasts) so it's no difference.

But if you keep carrying on then you keep taking Ls. Accept your L and move on. You continue to do this.  You continue to make assumptions about something/somebody you don't know.  You lost all credibility and ability to argue when you brought emotion into the equasion.  That sig stunt that you pulled exposed you as the emotionally unstable bitch that you are.  Repeatedly saying "i win, i win" only makes you look like an even bigges loser.

As I predicted you'll keep going on and on. Cause you can't accept your loss. You just proved my point. Emotional ass niggaz will continue to lash out. Fulfill fantasies of what you wish you could express in rl. You're just sad. Crying cuz I won't show your city love.

Haha, at this point you're just looking for a way out from this thread and your embarrassment.  Well, trying to paint me as the one who keeps going on and on is not gonna do it.  As for my city, you don't know what my city is, because i've never mentioned it.  Again, go back and reread the thread.

You have the worst logic ever. You're the one who lashed out in anger and I'm the one who needs a way out? Lmao. Delusional fuck.

If you weren't going on and on then we wouldn't be having this back and forth. I already exposed you in your first post, now all you can do is keep replying to try and save face. Niggaz like you always need to have a final word. It makes you feel secure, pretending like you got the final word in front of your internet audience. If you didn't care about your emotional investment in this thread then you wouldn't keep coming back. And you take the double L for trying to act like it doesn't bother you. You're like an addict, pretending like you can quit anytime. Sure we believe you  :D

You still haven't answered why you put that LA vs Bay shit in your sig.  How fucking emotionally hurt do you have to be to actually do that?  Do you realize how it makes you look?

Do you realize how it makes you look obsessing over another man's signature? And when it ain't even about you. That's how desperate you are. Computer nerd by day, failed forum hero by night.  :D

Cut the bullshit noobtube. You and I both know you lost. Whether you own up to it is a choice you'll have to make on your own.
