Yeah Sam had some bad autotune songs on that album, but also some very good new ones (besides the classic tracks on there). It's an unbalanced album, but it surprised me in a good way. Anyway, good to see you still active YGD!

Much appreciated,,like I say one man's trash maybe the next's treasure,,Some of the tracks were recorded @ JetCity Studio in Redondo Bch. & some were done @ THE BLACKHOLE in Hollywood..The features I have are all hungry individuals th@ need to be heard cause if I share & give it comes back in the 100 fold ,,,U feel me ,,So I'm basically giving back more than pay'N for a verse from some of theses Muthafuckaz th@ dont care one drop if they respond to U guys ..So I'm fuck'N with niggaz th@ hungry & humble..

Yo Top, i checked out your site and the new single Luv Letter. It's pretty cool. I'm really feeling the smooth beats you got on all three of those songs on your website. If i may make a bit of constructive criticism, i'd lose that weird echo effect the first and third songs have during your verses. Where it sounds like you are repeating your words a second or two off tempo in the background. It's kind of distracting and doesn't really go with your flow. Other than that, the songs are tight.
Really wish you'd work with Soopafly. Did you two do any songs together when you were both on Death Row?

I'm a WestCoast artist and when I got in the game I was Already on th@ style just coming from the West we tend to converse with U so were not yelling were telling,,and then U got the similar tone of voice ,,So I see why ppl would say the shit they said or felt how they felt..Wasn't never Suge's idea,I stepped back off th@ shit so when U listen now there's no comparison I got different styles for different tracks..

I don't think they did any tracks together. The Suge/Snoop beef was in full effect around the time YGD joined up.

I don't know...OFTB produced some of YGD's earlier tracks, and they were down with Snoop. YGD and Soopafly were both slated to be on the Inside Out compilation. Both were on Chronic 2000. I think YGD joined up towards the end of Soopafly's run with tha Row, but i think they overlapped for a bit. And Fly was producin alot of stuff there for a while. Probably unlikely they ever did anything, but i'm sure they met up or ran into each other at some point. If nothing else, i'm sure Soopafly let YGD have one of his hoes one night and could tell us a little something about it.

what i heard was that snoop did a demo of that song on deathrow and suge had it in the vault, he gave it to top dogg and had him re do it and timed it so that it would parrellel snoops release of his version.

Why? Because with a Top Dogg album, I know I'm going to get some nice selection of beats on there, whereas a current Snoop album..... Well that pretty much speaks for itself... 9 skippers of weak beats and lazy flowed auto-tuned pop trash, with 1-2 with replay value

I really don't know if it's an ignorance thing, or lack of geographical research within the American education systems. Not just you, but a lot of others on here seem to have this interpretation where all Euro's as you put, are all alike. I know a lot isn't taught on human geography out-with the USA, because it would be physically impossible given the size, different climates, cultures, policies etc. in the US alone, but not all Euro's get along. I'm from Scotland (it's not all tartan, ginger bearded highlanders rein-acting scenes from Braveheart) The majority of Scottish people can't stand English, despise their recurring arrogance, along with Germans being as arrogant (as a bulk population) I can't speak on other countries in Europe. I have no idea about whether or not they have countries they are not too fond of.
Point is, region or what country you live in doesn't, and shouldn't dictate a special clearance for music 'governor' entitlements. If East Coast music was only released in the East, and West in West, there wouldn't be much of a market, and without Europe and Asia, there would definitely be a negative effect all round for Hip Hop

I also had another couple of pendants made after that one from the same place given they done a good job the first time (non-hip hop, and more personal pendants though) and although they just sit and collect dust now in a box, they will at least hold some of their value as a lot of metals do, and if not I can simply sell it to Clint Dogg for double the amount I paid for it. So not all is lost entirely on wasting money on irrelevant things. I was young then, not savvy when it came to money, or to keep it back for what matters now.
I bet most on this forum, including myself have spent way more on drink, drugs, or/and rubbish over the years, so by comparison it isn't too bad

No one has captured everything that 2pac had. I liked some stuff Realest did back in the death row days, although i never thought he sounded like pac very much. He copied some of his style, but it's not like i thought he was really pac, you can easily tell the difference. Production values on most of the pac imatators are what hurt them. They don't have Johnny J and the other Death Row heavy hitters behind them like 2pac had back in the day. The lyrical content was lacking as well. They copied some of pac's big words and talking about going to war and stuff, but they couldn't get deep into the lyrics like pac could.

That would be the most logical thing to do for anyone selling an entire album... A place where you can actually buy it as well would be nice. This "send me $$ to my paypal account" isn't very professional, and in 2011 - without samplers, and/or a tracklist, the majority will go elsewhere with their $10, because there's just too much trash out nowadays to take the risk. It isn't like late 90's where you could buy a CD, and the liklihood be that it was an average-good CD. those days are over, and people want to see samples, tracklistings, guest lists, art work - everything, even single song download hype songs lol.. That last one you have done, so it's just a case of providing a tracklist, and putting out an album sampler, 10-20seconds of each song
