WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. WHO'S YOUR DADDY!!!
Anyways, here's Michael Jackson's new Song, "Xscape". His new album is supposedly gonna be called "Phoenix", with a song from Murder Inc called "Lets get this started"; he also recently wrote a song with Barry Gibb, and he attended Maurice Gibb's funeral yesterday with Barry and his wife.
* Link Removed. They're really cracking down on people letting this song out, I dunno why but there's all kinds of trouble going down with it. if yall want the song, get @ me on AIM, if you don't have my screen name, ask around. Peace~
-
Hmm........ Just got more of the song, there's some chick on the bridge, I wonder if it's ashanti? LOL
-
Thats a fresh name for his new album...
Out of the ashes rises the Phoenix!
-
I would hate this if it was anyone else. But damn MJ, go get Quincy.
-
Oh yeah! Thanks for the track too!
-
Now this song was already lacked on the Internet. Despite that everyone would like to hear this song, what would interfere in Michael's plans, we would like to ask all Michael Jackson fans for support by reporting us about web sites, forums, message boards, or e-mail distributions, that are currently making the new single "Xscape" available for download. We will make sure that Michael Jackson or his staff gets to know about this immediately and strong measures will be taken against that web site or person. We already know of five sites that have uploaded the song.

dont worry dawg, i got it now,lol
yo the songs pretty dope y'all...........the beats pretty sick............plus its betta than alot of shit that was on invincible......its not like its sumthing out of this world or anything, but its very dope.......like the way he changes his vioce from low to high pitch
y'all should check it out, its prety sick
peace
-
Very nice. I agree, it's alot better than anything on invincible.
-
ima have to check it...but i dont know about jacko and hip hop artists/producers workin together... :-\
-
Well, they're not on this song. But we'll see what will happen. I think his voice would sound good on any beat, and as long as they give him a dope beat, he'll handle the rest. Most of the problems I have with his songs are the beats are too simple. The beat to "You rock my world" was sick, and it was a good song. The beat to "invincible" and "unbreakable" and alot of the other ones on invincible wasn't that great, so they were mediocre. This song I don't think is better than the slow stuff he did on his last album, but if you compare it to the fast songs on there, it's much better. Peace~
-
jacko needs to work on his hooks a lil though, they real predictable n sumtimes outdated........like when neptunes offered mj the like i lvoe u track n lyrics.....he didnt like it cuz he felt there was no hook on it........but like the lil it had was pretty dope.......n great songs dont need hooks.......but still even if when he does hooks, he jus needs to come more updated with them
but yeah, shits alot doper n the stuff on invincible.......which as a big mj fan i gotta admit dissapointed me...........he gotta bring them background sounds back! n the lil effects he adds to the beat with his mouth!
peace
-
man even tho i said the hooks michael been doin lately are weak, man there more i hear this the more i like it!lol
im luvin this track at the moment.......
peace
-
dope

dont agree with that Butterflies is a beautiful track and this track aint on this level
-
^^ Yup. Like I said, the slow stuff on Invincible was classic material. I think on Invincible,
"Break Of Dawn"
"You Rock My World"
"Butterflies"
"speechless"
"Whatever Happens"
"Don't Walk Away"
"Heaven Can Wait"
Are all tight tight stuff. But this song is def. better than the fast stuff on Invincible.

Hell Yea........all those songs are damm near 5/5........
Yo, Trauma, U a SAV........Thanx 4 this shit.......
-
dope ass shit!
-
to this track is fuckin sick, why didnt he have this on invincible trauma?
peace
-
I dunno, I heard he does that alot, leave some of the best stuff off (*Cough *Cough like Snoop *Cough *Cough). I don't think he finished this in time for invincible, he prob. had it partially done, didn't like it, or something, and moved on to other stuff. Record execs ask for certain stuff sometimes too, so maybe they made the decision, but I think Mike controls the tracklists and creative direction of his album, so I guess it lands on him.
-
I remember back then that Swizz beatz, Wyclef Jean,Lauryn hill, Boyz II men all made beat for Invincible I Hope he'll work wit them again or hopefully he's gonna put em on the next album
-
and its kinda sad that the only way for Mike to be back on top is to be dead...
-
Will Smith & Missy Elliott, too.
-
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Mike's been in the studio for a while now, producing and recording (most people dont' realize he's a producer, too), and I even got photographic proof.
Notice the Michaelangelo-like painting of himself behind the console, LOL.
Anyways, the dude in the picture is this interviewer who has been following him around for 9 months making a documentary on Mike's life. He's interviewed him several times, and just basically travelled with him for months so he can get an accurate story of what Mike's like. The interview's supposed to air pretty soon, but I thought it was pretty interesting to see a RARE picture of Mike in the studio (he doesn't like to be watched while he works, so he always hides when he sings, and things like that).
I just read that in Europe, they're showing video commercials for the interview, with footage of Mike climbing a tree in a suit, LOL and he looks down at the interviewer and says "What? You don't climb trees?" like he's crazy. LOL Anybody seen them?
-
dope! how long he been workin on new material for?!
-
dope as fuck
can't wait for his new album
thx for the pic Trauma
-
I dunno how long he's been workin' on it, but I've been hearing for about 3 months now that he was in the studio. That's a little misleading though, because Mike works weird. He makes over a hundred tracks for each CD (he says several hundred, but that's hard for me to believe), then sometimes he'll use stuff he recorded 8 years ago on albums. He might take 8 years to release a track he recorded while he was making Dangerous, for instance, or he might make a song in 1 night (we are the world). He's kinda like Paul McCartney, sometimes they spend forever on a song, then sometimes they'll come up with an even better song in a couple hours. Mike famously recorded Billie Jean in 1 take. Also, his release scedule is WEIRD.
1978 - Off the Wall (quincy Jones produced, mike wrote 1 or 2 songs)
1982 - Thriller (Quincy Jones Produced, mike wrote 1 or 2 songs)
1987 - Bad (Quincy Jones produced, mike wrote several songs)
1992 - Dangerous (Mike co-produced, teddy riley co-produced, others, and Mike wrote several songs)
1995 - History (mike co produced, and wrote the majority of the songs)
1998 - Blood On the Dance Floor (remix cd of history, Mike wrote and co produced a few tracks; there were only 4 new songs, 1 new remix, and several remixes of history songs)
2001 - Invincible (Mike co-produced and wrote several tracks)
So, he's getting FASTER AND FASTER at albums, LOL actually. And amazingly, even though he's doing more on the albums, he's getting them done quicker. Now he's down to about 3 years between albums, when he waited 5 years to make Bad. So we could possibly see a new Michael Jackson album at the end of this year. That would be awesome, lol.
-
That would be great to see a new Mj album later this year but...in what label??? and by the way Blood on the Dance floor was a 1997 release if I remember

ya it was
-
That's cool, that just means it's possible for him to drop an album in 2 years, LOL.
Well, all his previous albums were on MJJ Records, which is his own record company. That was a subdivision or whatever of Epic, which was bought out by Sony in the early 90's, and he signed a new deal with them then. He supposedly owes Sony 1 greatest hits box set, which is somethign they can throw together at any time and release. it's supposed to have 2 new songs, which he's supposedly already provided them with (out of old stuff, a couple months ago he was bragging about how he could give them any old song he had laying around to finish the contract).
Then, they fired Tommy Motolla (he resigned... yeah right) last week. That was Mike's main problem with Sony. It looks like he's done with them, though, and also, he owns half of their publishing company, Sony/ATV. The crazy thing about this is, a lot of new artists are distributed through Sony/ATV. The new oasis album, for instance, was part of Sony/ATV, so Mike owns half of Oasis's new album. WTF was Sony thinking when they signed that deal with him?
So, word is he's started a new record company, Neverland Records, a subsidary of Clive Davis's Jive Records. Irv Gotti's handling a lot of his new record, but it won't be on Murder Inc. So I'd look for it to come out on Neverland Records distributed through Jive Records. peace~
-
thats tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight news I hope he will bring 3T & Brownstone with him by the way another correction Clive Davis label is called J Records ...Jive records is another label
-
Oh :) Yeah, 3T was pretty tight. I liked that jam "24 seven, I been thinkin' bout ya baby"

And even MORE, lol. Here's a video promoting the interview/special which is gonna air in europe, 1.5 hour documentary on Mike (with his full cooperation)
www.itv.com/news/video/en_20_jacko.rm
It's got a segment where he's teaching dude to moonwalk. Watch and learn, LOL... notice the part where he's doing the moonwalk and not even moving (like in the smooth criminal video), that's awe-inspiring, LOL.
