50 Cent has taken to Twitter to complain about his record label Interscope, calling them "fucked up" for not releasing his new album.
He also apologised to his fans, who haven’t been able to hear any material from his in-the-works fifth album, which has the working title 'Black Magic'.
The hip hopper has now said that he will never release the album on the label, saying:
"Man I'm not releasing a album i can't believe interscope is this fucked up right now. I apologize to all my fans… I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time too many."
He then added that he would leak fellow Interscope act Dr. Dre's new single 'Psycho' as a way of taking revenge on the record label.
"I LOVE DRE but I'm putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00… You're gonna love it its a big song I just don't think it deserves a great set up sense they can't seem to get it right when it comes to me."

How the fuck can 50 call Game bi-polar...oh ya must take one to kno one...1
-
50s a bitch, hes gunna sabatoge Dr Dre, the man that created ur carrer, Cause ur mad at the label? Bitch move, Take a seat and wait ur turn
-
He already said that he ain't gonna post the song.
-

-
Anybody hear his new song " I'm on it?". It's..... So......bad.makes baby by me look like in da club

He was making great music before he was big though. If you look at it his career he was hot from about 2000 to 2007. After Curtis it's been downhill.
-
dre didnt create 50s career, the dude CHANGED THE FUCKIN MIXTAPE GAME before GRODT even came out. kids on here mustve only started listenin to rap a few years ago if they dont even know that. dre made him into a superstar, but all his hottest and most original street shit came way before that.
its damn obvious people who only first listened to rap when in da club or the real slim shady made it big on radio. and even if you did, thats no excuse. do your history folks, learn about the music you love before you talk like you know it all

Nobody is claiming that Dre made 50 a good rapper, but he just made his career. Im not sure if 50 would be big without Dre.
-
It's not 50's fault. Times changed & his sound just couldn't adapt. Similar to Game. Both trying to stay true to themselves while keeping up with the times & just making poor music because of it.
Plus 50 is rich as fuck. If you asked him why he got into rap, he'd tell you for the money. He's made multiple lifetimes worth. He's set.

Co Sign, real talk !

That's not real talk, that's real bullshit.
Jada was huge on the mixtape scene too. As was Fab, and do I even need to mention how big the Dipset movement was?
50s career was a combination of being hungry + controvery (most people knew he was beefing with rule and that he got shot AT 9 times before they could name you 1 of his songs) + having that Interscope machine behind him.
And even with that, he still owes D12 for not wanting the In Da Club beat. Without that song his career wouldn't have been the same; GRODT wouldn't have sold the same with 21 Questions and PIMP as the singles.
-
If it wasnt for 50 handing game a career game would be Joe beast status.
50 had a career with or without dre. He had an actual bidding war for him,not like drakes make believe bidding war. 50 was making hot music and he owned the mixtape game.50 turned mixtapes into a way to start your career. How many rappers got signedoff mixtapes because of him? Everyone was looking for the next fif.

oh so its bullshit just because dips, fab and jada were making mixtapes too? everything i said is true if you want to completely ignore the impact he had on the mixtape game just because other people had popular mixtapes then go ahead. its called burying your head in the sand

50 was the first mixtape artist to really take someones song remake it and make it his own. Which is what most people try to do now. Prior to that it was just freestyles.

on point 100%.....mixtapes to me were awful before someone like 50 made that lane to turn someones elses song into ur own version.
-
Weird al has been doing it for decades.
-
Weird al had zero impact on hip hop or mixtapes so isnt relevant.
-
To hell with interscope. I don't care for 50 but it's obvious this label is too scared to put his album out. Just let the dude out of his deal if you won't release his shit.
-
He already said that he ain't gonna post the song.
becuz he can't... he can't even go to toilet without dre's permission...
-
Guess Who's Back is some ill shit

Surely if he's got enough money to apparently feed Africa then he can get an album out? Sounds like a bit of a childish female with this. I'd have thought 50, of all people, would have went about this a better way, being the businessman he is.
Maybe its fate. His rap career started with a shelved album....

I still wanna know what his contract situation is with Interscope. I thought BISD was the last album he owed them (other than a greatest hits album but that's up to interscope to put out; probably won't be until after he dies like most labels do to make money off their artist)
If he's that unhappy he should just leave. If anybody in hip-hop could start their own distribution company its Curtis. He's a smart guy so I'm pretty sure he's observed how the wheel turns as far as the big business behind the scenes at Interscope. He should give it a shot.

BISD was his last. The new one comes out on Interscope if he re-negotiates his contract.
Ive always wondered why no-ones ever started their own distribution label

People are still checking for this guy?

He was signed for 5 albums, who's to say the 5th album had to be a greatest hits project?
-
^ he said it himself. 5 albums, 4 studio albums and 1 greatest hits. He's done that and delivered the GRODT soundtrack, 2 lloyd banks solos, 2 young buck solos, and 1 solo a piece by game, yayo, and mobb deep. No way in hell should they be holding him captive.

If I had to guess, I'd say BISD was his "last album on Interscope" because he assumed they would put out his greatest hits album as his 5th & he wouldn't really have to do anything.
But apparently they were like "fuck that, make another new album".
-
No wonder they won't release a new album from him since he been puttin' out so horrible music.
