Title: If rappers were Biblical/religious figures from Torah, Bible, Qu'ran...
Post by: TraceOneInfinite Flat Earther 96' on August 31, 2011, 09:37:00 PM
Pac- would be the "black Jesus".  Persecuted, resurrected after being shot five times, savior to the lost souls

The Outlawz-  would be like the 12 disciples or the Prophet Muhammad's Sahaba

Nas-  The Prophet Muhammad-  Nas always calls himself the Prophet.  He also called himself God's Son which would make him Jesus, but his raps are too subtle to be Jesus, so he is a better fit as the Seal of the Prophets.

Cool Herc-  Would be the Prophet Adam-  He's the one who's generally credited for starting it all.

Jimmy Iovine-  Would be Solomon.  Soloman was rich and prevailed over a vast kingdom, right?  Jimmy has been rich and prevailed over a vast kingdom of great artists.

Biggie-  The Anti-Christ to 2pac.  With Jay-Z and Puffy as the Shaytan.

Lil Wayne-  The Dajal-  Comes at the end of times.  After the Prophet, Nas, had foretold the impending death of hip-hop.  Lil Wayne deceives the public and becomes the #1 rapper.

Russel Simmons- Is the Buddha-  He's a master Yogi, into meditation, search for inner peace

Young Money Crew-  City of Sodom- in the story of Lut

Joe Budden would be Job/Ayyub, he was handed everything and then lost it in an instant.

Lupe Fiasco, would be Ali, Muhammeds younger cousin. Since a lot of Lupe stans think he is the the next successor after Nas.

Kool G Rap is Moses.  Like Moses Kook G Rap helped father in modern rap style and led his people for years, is a great influence on Nas like Moses (and Aaron) were for Muhammed, and check this, both of them (Kool G and Moses) suffered from a severe lisp.

Freeway-  is Samson.

Dr Dre- Yaqub the mad scientist.  He "masterminded" the career of white rapper Eminem and his dominance on the Earth (albeit for an appointed period of time).

or as Sikotic says...

Moses (Dr. Dre) lead the Israelites (West Coast fans) to the promised land (Aftermath) and away from the Pharaoh (Suge Knight) and Egypt (Death Row).

...that's all I got for now... anybody else want to make suggestions...

Lil Wayne- The Dajal- Comes at the end of times. After the Prophet, Nas, had foretold the impending death of hip-hop. Lil Wayne deceives the public and becomes the #1 rapper.

Fat Joe- Is the Buddha- Just because he's fat... no other reason

Young Money Crew- City of Sodom- in the story of Lut

Hip-Hop author and journalist of the highest reputation, Micheal Eric Dyson, published a book on 2pac in which he spent a whole chapter discussing 2pac as the "black Jesus" figure of hip-hop.  That imagery permeated much of his music, and it is this sort of myth-making that is intrical part of art and hip-hop.  It deserves mention and it is a compelling side story to the music.

...But congratulations to the moderator who catered to the worst elements of the forum... and moved this thread to GSpot!!!...On playing the role of dumbing down the forum and playing into the hands of idiots like Cham and Muthufucka by sending my thread to the G-Spot!!  You catered to the dumfucks at the forum.  You should of deleted the replies, not the thread.   You let the dumbfucks win and as a result of them and you catering to them it is deteriorating the quality of hip-hop journalism at the forum and dumbing it down to a 13 year old level.

You should of just leave the thread alone.  Because what you did is not fair.  The message this sends is that anybody I don't like, I should just go into their threads and ruin their threads with spam and bad replies and that will get the threads sent to the G-Spot?

It's always the biggest idiots who think they know everything.   So you are more qualified to write about hip-hop than Michael Eric Dyson?  He devoted a whole chapter to the subject in his book on hip-hop.  So is he also "fuckin retarded"?

He is capable of error and saying stupid shit like the rest of us. Stop putting him up on a pedestal. Same goes with 2pac.

Of course it is.  Because this was a thread that the old O.G. Sikotic could of easily contributed to positively, and with a great sense of humor.   But instead he is not strong enough to elevate himself above the trash that surrounds him.   He feels bound by them as if he needs their approval.    That's why I posted about him once that he's only as good as the people around him.  That's how lynch mobs are formed.  You have some people in the world like Cham, Muthufucka (the worst elements of the forum) who are fueled by their hatred and ignorance, and you have smart and otherwise good natured people like Sikotic who lack dignity and aren't strong enough and end up giving into such people and degrading themselves.  Because they need the approval and admiration of dumbfucks.

Hatred & ignorance? There is just something mentally wrong with you. But I'm starting to lean towards you being a troll anyway. You making outlandish, stannish comment about the same three rappers; Eminem, Tupac & Nas all the time. So lets put it like this, you're either just a herb with way too much time on his hands, mentally challenged or a troll. Take your pick, Brian.

Plus you delete anything in Elements that is negative towards you. That automatically makes you a cancer to this forum.

& enough with your reverse psychology with guys like Tom & SIK. I remember that "change your name back" thread & now here with SIK, you're such a clown trying to impose guilt on them like they're doing something wrong. No, B. You're what's wrong here. Just grow up. You're on some Peter Pan shit tryna make everything stay the same way forever. You lived with somebody who you met on an internet forum. You're life sucks. Jump off a building.

No. It's so much fun to watch Brian use his biased imagination to make these comparisons.

Notice how his two favorite artists, Pac & Nas are God's & prophet's & Biggie is the Anti-Christ. Biggie is likely the second biggest name in Hip Hop history behind Pac & equally if not more loved, yet hes the Anti-Christ lol.

I'm surprised Eminem wasn't mentioned as Jesus.

Why do y'all hate on Infinite so much? Homie is just trying to be innovative and creative with threads. At least it's not another thread about Tha Row or another thread about Puffin' on Blunts and Sippin' Tanqueray.

Much love Infinite. Keep doin what ya do homie.

PEACE!!!!!

og status, 1 love

Hmm, I don't know know if I like this charade, but its def. better than the repetitive beef about the fight that never happened.

it's not my fault that most people here are illiterate and they can not understand neither the value nor the humor in comparing today's rap artists with the legends, myths of the past.  Like I said before hip-hop is about myth-making and hyperbole, and I don't know how rap fans as illiterate as most of you could ever appreciate a song like 2pac's "Blasphemy" or the Outlawz "Black Jesus", but maybe you guys don't really listen to the words or only pick up 25% of it when you listen.

Then a lot of it is just bandwagon hatred from the weak.  Like if Sikotics post with the Suge Knight/Death Row/Israel Moses post had been the first one after mine, then everybody probably would of played along and this would of been a cool thread.   It failed not because of me, but because most the forum is illiterate.

ODB calls himself Big Baby Jesus right? So peep this y'all.......Jesus (ODB) has his disciples (Gza, Rza, Meth, U-God, Inspecta Deck, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa) and they all spread the gospel (36 Chambers).

Unfortunately, Jesus (ODB) dies, but the disciples (Wu-Tang) go on to spread his word (Legendary Weapons).

I know.....stupid analogy considering Ol' Dirty Bastard is still alive right?

If 2Pac is Jesus, Brian is one of his fake followers, going around and twisting his simple message of brotherly love into telling you how to live your life and what to believe in, caught up in their own b.s.

who says i haven´t listened to those songs ? am i illiterate if i think Black Jesus was corny as hell , illiterate because i don´t agree with you . that´s what sheep do.  you can find deep meanings in fucking pop songs if you search for them .  teenagers worship pop stars , just like you worship 90s gangsta rappers.

the thing is , your post wasn´t funny. and because you really seem to think 2pac was sent by God .  just my opinion.
