Virtus Bologna made a new and last offer for Kobe Bryant: $2.5M before taxes per one month of action (little more than $1M net). If the deal will be finalized, Virtus Bologna will play eight games in the first month of Italian Serie A. The potential arrival of Kobe Bryant in Italy is the reason why yesterday the new schedules of Serie A were not drawn. "I want to thank all the presidents because they understood how big is the opportunity we have if Kobe signs with us" said Sabatini. "If the deal will be finalized, Virtus Bologna will play eight games in the first month" added Valentino Renzi, president of Legabasket. Kobe will be in Italy today and tomorrow and during his tour with NIKE in Rome and Milam there could be the chance for a meeting with Claudio Sabatini to understand if Bryant wants really to play in Italy during the NBA Lockout.
