Anyone hear that new song by Common and Mya? I heard it on a Coke commercial, and the song is off da hook. Looks like Coke is introducing Mya and Common to represent, cuz they're performing on the commercial. And props to Coke for diggin a bit deeper to find some real artists.  Good to see that their hip hop vision hasn't been spoiled. Besides, the glister of the bling bling is nothing but a faint haze to me. If you haven't heard the song, go peep it at cokemusic.com. They say Mya's gonna have the same track on her next cd. That site had this music mixer on there too, which was pretty fun to play wit. And this virtual online community thing. Check it out. Maybe I'll see you on there. My nic is SirCharles. Peace.

Resurrection is one of hip hop's finest albums. Common has gotten to neo-soul for my likings though. I still respect him as an artist though.

his first 3 albums are dope ass fuck
especially like water for chocolate wit some dj premier prod beats
his first one is an old school classic

Electric Circus is a dope album too.  "Between Me, You & Liberation" is a great song dealing with real life issues such as cancer and homosexuality.

LOL!!  Still, I'd like to add to the hype he's trying to biuld and say that Common is wack, Mya is wack... Common tries too hard to look "conscious", it's really with alternative coffee house kids buying his records.  And Mya's first album was dope but now she's just a prostitute selling her body.

The only song that I heard, and liked from Common was "Making a Name for Ourselves" with Canibus.

PS: Bis came twice as hard as Comm did...LOL
