shits weird as hell...u got spambots from months back who are still making posts without getting banned. it usually takes hours for the posts to get deleted, if they even get deleted at all. is there any1 actually monitoring this site? yall need 2 swallow your pride and realize that if u ain't gettin the job done, it's time to move forward and find some more peeps to help maintain this bitch. take it from someone who has been on this site since the day it opened, this site has been drastically losing activity within this past year or two, and theres a reason for that. someone in charge needs to step up and get some others involved ASAP........PeACe

yea, no doubt. of course it's not spambots...it's the overall maintenance. nobodys monitoring this site consistently. we got numerous mods who haven't even visited the site since 2008 and even earlier....shit is pretty weird, for a board that could easily be the biggest thing on the internet for west coast music, if it was bein maintained properly.

The problem is that we are all getting older and unfortunately we have more important things to do in life than troll the waters of DubCC 24/7 like NIK does. If there are better candidates and posters who can spend more time moderating this place, then by all means they could/can have my spot.

Just wanted to say this place needs nothing at all. I come here almost every day to watch/read that hilarious comedy. And i mean it seriously. DUBCC nowadays is probably one of the funniest places with probably most hilarious users on the web.

you got a guy who should run some hip hop church or shit like that. He loves to compare rappers to gods, jesus etc. What is more he thinks he's african. And surely he watched too many conspiracy movies and took them way to seriously. Now he's obsessed with illuminati, symbolism etc and forgot hip hop music is nothing but entertainment.
on the other hand you got a guy who probably thinks he's a black illuminati. at least he thinks he's a big name in music industry but in reality he is broke and can't afford professional covers for his homemade mixtapes... or whatever it is. His youtube video disses were the shit tho. for a comedy of course.

so ur pretty much admitting this site means nothing to the mods/admins? get off ya high-horse, son...yesterday, i was able to go to a bbq, smokeout with 3 different homies, pick up 2 checks from 2 different cities, fuck twice, and go to the movies, and i STILL coulda maintained this site properly if needed. see, the problem is that this site means nothing to yall, but since i'm active in the hip-hop scene, always in the studio around rappers tryna network, i know how big this site is and could be for west coast hip-hop....to me, this site could be a vital part in the resurgence of the west. it could pretty much make or break it. obviously, u "grew up" (aka dont give a shit), but that doesnt mean there aint people out there our age who are still active in the scene, and interested in building west coast hip-hop back-up. this COULD be the outlet, if you weren't busy doing "more important shit" (working a 9-5, thinkin ur doing somethin special in ur meaningless existence). also, this site could be a lot more profitable, as well.. the problem is mufuckaz aint tryna build.

Well, the place definitely needs a upgrade.. forum software, global mods, mods, SPAM MEASUREMENTS (Yes, In Capital), and a slight section revamp.
A 2012 refresh in other words..
Fun fact: The last 30 days, 60 spambots has been nuked, having their threads + posts deleted.. it's a spamolution, all me & Okka (I assume he's the other guy nuking them) can do, is to nuke the ones we catch, put it's impossible to catch them all, when I'm only on tha Dub tops 30-50 minutes a week.

Honestly the Forum is fine the way it is, the system works. And as much time as some people have put into here keeping it going I don't see anything wrong with there being an exception or two.
But changing everything and trying to revamp the Forum isn't gonna do shit, if anything DubCNN needs some new shit. Spam Bots are everywhere all over different Forums and there's no way of getting around that (not even if u were to make it private). This site generates a little too much traffic weekly for that to not happen.

It would be good for him in terms of "doing something productive".
The only cons are that you'll have about six members, four being LAMB affiliates & there will be a LAMB section.

but more mods with ban powers are needed. i think the current state of the forum is a variety of factors. right now okka isn't about, probably the most active mod.

It doesn't help the site that the subject it is dedicated to, WESTCOAST hip hop, has been relatively irrelevant for six years and counting. Hard to have substantive discussions on something that is on life support. I mean, what is there really to discuss? Back in the day we had real discussions because there was actual real product being released to the market that we could discuss. I am glad that there is less Detox spamming now, though. People finally realized that it was a myth.

in what way? lmao...just because u dont agree with my opinion as far as basketball goes don't mean i was a "terrible" mod. it aint like i was deletin random threads or lockin topics where peeps didn't agree with me...the fuck outta here, actin like i was some corrupt mod or some shit. when i was mod of sports section, it was one of the top boards on wcc, and had way more activity than it does now. hop off the nuts, teecee. u better than that (or are u?...i cant really tell).

Well, the place definitely needs a upgrade.. forum software, global mods, mods, SPAM MEASUREMENTS (Yes, In Capital), and a slight section revamp.
A 2012 refresh in other words..
Fun fact: The last 30 days, 60 spambots has been nuked, having their threads + posts deleted.. it's a spamolution, all me & Okka (I assume he's the other guy nuking them) can do, is to nuke the ones we catch, put it's impossible to catch them all, when I'm only on tha Dub tops 30-50 minutes a week.
why don't you get more global mods then? And demod the ones who don't post anymore. There's some mods who have been inactive for years.
