i don't know but rick ross's first single from his deeper than rap album with John Legend showed him at the racetrack and Messy Marv mentions going to horseraces in his 1996 single "Keep It on the Down Low"

I went to Saratoga a few weeks ago while visiting fam...didn't leave richer but i won enough to cover my over priced screw driver  8)
