Guess what ass whip. The same thing happen in New Orleans. Church groups, Celebrates, Charities all falling over themselves to get into New Orleans so they can help out, some wanted to make themselves look good, other people were good people trying to help. But at the end of the day, a few thousand people can't make up for he 81 Billion dollars in damage that storm caused. And that 81 billion is a conservative estimate. That's more money than many companies, churches, average people, and charities and non-profits can contribute if they pulled EVERYTHING together. That's $81 billion. Bill Gates is worth $71 billion, even Bill Gates couldn't pay to do the full clean up of New Orleans. That's why we need some form of government to do this stuff, because storms are getting bigger and bigger and more expensive to clean up.
But a few thousand people wouldn't cut it when it comes to repairing New Orleans. And remember, most of these good people took a few weeks off of work, they can't be there months and months at a time to do the full clean up.

I support it's existence, I don't support how it's been used. In my last post I never said FEMA, I said there is a need for government when shit hits that level. FEMA it's self has been bastardized because of mismanagement since 1978 when it was started by Jimmy Carter, a good sign a program will be doomed from the start.
