I will say though that all this glorification of Mandela is very unbalanced in America. I mean, most these people don't really know about Mandela, South Africa, or apartheid. Many economic, crime, corruption, quality of life indicators, etc. don't bode well in Mandela's favor. I'm far from an expert on the issue but I think people should be a little more balanced, I'm surprised at all the unquestioning support for Mandela in America. I even heard these local sports talk guys devoting a whole half hour of the show to Mandela. And that was sports talk...
