Title: Will Smith Pulls Out of Oscars Because of War? Mar 21,

WILL SMITH has decided to drop out of being a presenter at Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles due to the war in Iraq. Will's publicist Stan Rosenfeld issued a statment saying, "He felt uncomfortable in attending and respectfully asked to be excused. There's no agenda, there's no speeches. He just felt uncomfortable in attending."

And it might be that other stars may follow his lead, like NICOLE KIDMAN and RENEE ZELLWEGER from "Chicago" who are up for Best Actress are also considering not attending because of the fighting abroad.

heard about this, this morning on the news and TBH i dont see the Oscars going ahead, they saying that the Red Carpet is going to be scratched due to the war and i dont see a lot of celebs turning up and partying whilst the war is going on.
