Title: My homies in town, we lookin for some rap battles in the city..
Post by: TraceOneInfinite Flat Earther 96' on February 15, 2014, 06:27:43 AM
FUCK!!  Seems like whenever my homie is in town we can't find no spots around da way that are servin up rap battles..... I don't want to just go up in there by myself amongst dozens of KC niccaz, because you know KC ain't got any hip-hop culture to speak of... so I would feel too out of place... but if my homie is with me then it will be all good and I can serve all those fools.... we were out in the town last night just beatin up the streets cipherin around the way in the downtown areas just linkin up with fools around the way and stuff but we were searching for a spot to battle and ain't no spots poppin last night... he's only in town again tonight so now I'm google searchin for something, but if I find one you know I will post the video ya'll!! Because while I'm rappin he can be snappin the video, so I can drop ya'll the exclusive.  The other battle when I was at that city carnival with my son, I destroyed everybody but I didn't have any homie with me to take a video... but I got ya'll if we find something tonight...

Mac Lethal as an artist is ass    but as a freestyle battler he's the best KC has to offer that I know of.  he's been battling for over a dozen years too so infinite can't deny his "credibility" like he does to "Bay area artist" brotha lynch  lol

which is part of the reason I don't listen to Bay Area rap, although I don't think I would of listened to it much anyway.... But yeah, the Bays always gotten love in KC for some reason, probably because E-40 has some fam out here and maybe did some shows and broke ground back in the day.   Then like most KC rap fans they saw other niccaz was into it and jumped on a bandwagon and never got off

It's the Bay... the Bay is northern Cali, basically.

My homie let me down...

We were out at this jazz spot but it was open mic and it was really late.  It wouldn't of been a big deal if we got up and rocced the mic, nobody would've cared.  But my homie was saying it wasn't a real open mic, but it kind of was, because they were having jam sessions at different points in the night.

Anyway, I should of just gone up there on my own but at the same time it's good to have someone have your back and have that energy.  Nothing happens without energy... so I can't be too hard on myself for not going up there, but if I had it to do again I would've just gone up there and at least I would've had something dope on video to post at the forum today.

i thought thats what yutz was for?

They are both out of town now.

Same problem with Yatz that I have with Islaminevitable.  (Yeah, that's right, by the way, my "homie" that I'm talking about is a member of this forum, you can check his posts his user name is Islaminevitable)

...But yeah anyway, once upon a time both Yatz and Islaminevitable lived in KC.  Yatz moved though, he lives in St. Louis now.  Islaminevitable is over 4 hours away now as well, he had to move up North.....

The other problem with yatz is that he is only 15 years old, so dude couldn't even get into clubs, or he would definitely be up for any battles or open mics around St. Louis.  Doesn't mean we can't beat up the streets though, and that's even realer when it comes to hip-hop, in my humble opinion.

Naw.. it's all love.  He even messaged me on fathers day to show love to the "those who are like your father even though not biologically".   And by the way, last time I saw Yatz was when we blessed your beat.  Thanks for the hook up!

Allah doesn't like arrogance and hyperbole.... don't inflate your importance, son.  Your a tech nerd and you managed to create a website and thus made a name for yourself.   You got some computer skills, congrats, and you were smart enough to make Sccit a moderator.  If your bully mentality and lack of hip-hop cultural sensibility didn't get in the way, I may even tip my hat to you.  So let's leave it at that, and not get carried away...
