So, can someone here give me the original tracklist for this album ?
The one WideAwake released in 2011 isn't exactly the original version I think...
I found this one, but I don't know if its the original or just all the tracks somehow thrown together:
http://westcoastnation.blogspot.it/2009/06/lbc-crew-havent-you-heard-unreleased-dr.html
Also on this site there is a lot of songs by the lbc crew floating around:
http://rapsody-music.ru/viewtopic.php?id=2202
And what about the track 6 shooter ?
It was on that ultimate dr collection, but i think it was intended for the album originally or am I mistaken ?
-
Some tracks intended for LBC allbum were released on another DR albums so why Wideawake shoulded add them to Haven't You Heared? Out of the Moon, Blueberry for example.
-
Can you give me a list of those lbc crew tracks released on other dr projects ?
Planning to do a lil playlist with all the lbc crew songs....
So if i had the 2011 Release by wideawake, the other songs they put out on various compilations, the songs from the Tracklist i posted, a maybe correct Tracklist by someone here and the unreleased songs from the Second link, that would be pretty much everything of im not mistaking

Out of the Moon from Gridlock'd
Blueberry and Gold Rush from Tha Doggfather
Beware of My Crew supposed to be a lead single for their record, but they canceled project and used song for A Thin Line Between Love & Hate soundtrack. Remix u can find od DPG remix LP.

Cool thanks ^^
Where you got that from ?
-
It's been around the web for years, i can't remember who or where it leaked originally from though.
-
It was leaked on the very first Death Row fanpage by Playa P. and da homie Matty Jory...he made the news section. Damn that was more than 15 years ago. 8)

I'm still lovin the WideAwake edition of this album. Good quality, easily the best release from Wwide Awake.... damn shame finding out from Joe Cool that Russel Simmons wanted to sign these cats and suge bullied him from doing it.... because none of these cats are strong enough to go solo but they were perfect together as a crew... the album is slammin...
I never would of thought back in the day that they recorded a full album ready for release like this. I thought it was just that Beware of My Crew joint and Out the Moon and any other hot joints they had ended up on Doggfather.... turns out they had a whole album done of banging joints... even sounds sequenced with an intro and outro and everything fitting....
Also, last point this shit is even tighter than the Doggfather album. Its clear snoop was never the same after he beat his case and lost the hunger for gangsta rap... this LBC album seems to have wrapped up just before he beat his case. Snoop should've just basically jacked the whole sound and several joints from this album and given doggfather a whole nother look and feel... most the best tracks on Doggfather are already LBC crew assisted ones... he should've just kept that theme for the whole shit

During the LBC compilation recording sessions @ Can-Am, there were also the first 19th St. recording sessions @ Sound Castle. If you listen the original version of "Rap Killer" feturing LowLife, Crooked I, Kurupt and Techniec, it was a DoggyStyle Records / 19th St. collaboration, like some other material that was included in the first Big C-Style compilation "19 Street LBC".
Actually, DoggyStyle Records was first LBC Crew (Techniec, Lil Style and Bad Ass), Tracy Deee, So Sentrel'le, LT Hutton and LowLife (CoCo Loc, Shorty K, Lil J and then Bad Ass). Death Row promoted the sub-label with this rosters in 95.

He shouldve released the lbc crew album AND Doggfather with a better tracklist with all the songs they were recorded for it. That wouldve been 2 dope albums.

funny how Crooked I was outshining EVERYBODY on death row records not named 2pac back in late 1995. kurupt was the closest to competing and he had to reuse a verse from Started

So what exactly is this list ? ;D
all the songs released by dr or all the songs that were intended for the album ?
-
Here's the original tracklist for the album.
I noticed on the song interlude "Funk Wit Yo Brain", Tray Deee and McGruff are credited as having rap verses on it. The version from Wideawake had no raps on it and was just snoop talking. Anyone know if there's another version of this track floating around with the raps, or was the track scrapped before they had time to lay down any verses?

Although I think 6shooter is missin ;)

Damn.. this project is fuckin slammin... I bought the Wide Awake release and I've been bumpin it all year and it's only grown on me. I was expectin some Lost Sessions type of shit and didn't know they had a full album completed and sequenced and all that shit. Snoop was still in his prime when he did this one and it is better than Doggfather, IMO

mcgruff died not to long go

And of course in original Out of the Moon that was Lil C-Style instead of 2Pac :)
thank god they made the decision to change that....average ass boring c style replaced by the best rapper ever. nice upgrade.
