Honestly dude I never got much into the gore/slasher rap. In no way can I relate to it. Was never really a fan of his voice or lisp either.

Sad to see it's only 9 tracks. As for the features, Schoolboy Q and Ab Sol are cool, but I don't see why they're on here outside of popularity. That's one thing, but Mac Miller? Wow, that's disappointing. Still excited for the project but was hoping for a lot more.

Seems like the majority of the people checking for this are gonna be hip hop heads though, it's not like 14 year olds these days know Royce and Premo like Mac Miller and Schoolboy.

Australia was originally made up of British convicts. But of course there were non convicts sent over too lol. the Aborigines. Chinese came over alot in the old days to do mining and such then left. Italians and Greeks were the earliest European settlers/immigrants to come here.
There are alot of Italians and Greeks here, they helped build Australia.
Then Australia basically became Australasia. Many many many Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, Filipino, Thai, etc and in some parts Koreans, etc Alot of Australia is owned by China, some by japan.
Then came the middle easterm arabs and such.
Now theres millions of the other Asians, like Indians.
And now we are seeing many Africans here which there never used to be.
Of course theres other Europeans. I mean i work with Serbians, poms, Russians, Croatians, etc
Seems to be quite a few new Zealanders(kiwis) and Torrens state islanders also.

Fair call. But Crook i would imagine would be popular over there seeing as he dose more east coast style music than west these days and his lyrical ability.

I never liked Royce Da 5'9 as a rapper , i find him to be boring , one of those type of rappers who try too hard to be lyrical but really isn't saying much . Just going on and on about random shit . And his rap style isn't all that either . Not hating shut stating my opinion on him .

I was sceptical about this project, thinking it might be boring but I kept a open mind.
I have to say it turned out to be a very good project and a very smart idea with the features.
Most of the features brings something fun and different to the tracks they are on.
The last three tracks are my favourites at the moment, they've been on repeat back to back.
'To me, To you' feat Jay Electronica (Jay Elcteonica came correct on this)
'Underground Kings' feat Schoolboy Q & Killer Mike (Impressed by Q on this, he stepped his game up to do the track justice & Killer Mike delivered too)
'Microphone Preem' Feat SlaughterHouse (I'm not a big slaughterhouse fan but this beat is almost perfect for them, the beat is that kinda perfect boom bap perfection for lyricists, best track on the project for me.)

I wish a lot of project would be like this, 9 solid tracks, no weak track, no fillers, all features put an effort in and delivered.
Makes the album listenable and you can play it all back again without skipping, that way some tracks grow more on you.
Oh and Premo is amazingly on point with the productions on this project!
This is easily 8.5/10 for me.

yeah premo definitely brought some heat. getting gang starr vibe from a lot of it - 'dat good sound' would fit in perfectly on 'the ownerz' lp.

Royce is amongst the top spitters in the game.. flow, voice, metaphors, punchlines, humor, charisma, self-irony, versatility (he's done some dope hooks)..
What he lacks though, to be considered amongst the greatest, is content.. he's self-observed (like most rappers), and has little to no real subject matter..
I would like to see some more concept songs about politics, society, movies/books, world problems, whatever... there's only so long talking about money, fame, bitches and alcohol will keep you entertained.

I listened to half the stream on day one and stopped at the R&B joints in the middle. I'll pick this up one day for sure but it's not an essential buy for me

Typical Primo. He said there would be a cd version of the Get Used To Us compilation he released on Year Round. Still haven't seen it. He's apparently doing albums with M.O.P., KRS-One, Lady Of Rage, Jakk Frost, NYGz. I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them right now. The one he announced the latest is the only project that has actually come out, PRhyme. So don't expect it any time soon.

Late last week, Royce Da 5’9″ appeared on the hip hop, boxing, MMA and pro wrestling podcast “The Corner” to talk about Floyd Mayweather’s supposed final fight (Nickle is a huge boxing fan) but also revealed a ton of news regarding his upcoming work with DJ Premier (PRhyme 2), Slaughterhouse, two solo projects, Bad Meets Evil and finally getting Eminem on a DJ Premier track. On the new Slaughterhouse album:
I gotta go to NYC on the 15th of this month and go over these last mixes for the Slaughterhouse album. Just Blaze is mixing right now. We’ll tighten up whatever we have to tighten up and we’re handing the album in.
It’s really introspective and vintage slaughterhouse. Just Blaze is a great executive producer with a lot of great ideas. He has this shit sounding like a movie. I think people are going to be really impressed. A lot of complaints that people had with the last album, which I was able to go back and catch in retrospect. Sometimes, man, as a creative person, you don’t catch everything. You don’t hear it the same way because it’s a situation will have you excited and at that time we had so many people talking like we couldn’t make records. So we were going in making these big ass records and I don’t know how all of them ended up on the same album. I don’t even remember. I think with that album it was the song selection. We had a bunch of songs that just didn’t make the final cut. We’re really conscious of that this time. People will be impressed and it will exceed expectations.
On dropping 4-5 projects in the next year:
Once I get back from this quick Slaughterhouse tour I’m going to get back to work on this solo project I have for a new series I’m starting. It’s kind of like how I did the Bar Exam series. Right after I’m done with that I’m jumping into the PRhyme 2 album and then I’m taking my other solo project, that’s not part of that series, probably to a major.
I’m looking to put out the Slaughterhouse album, the PRhyme Deluxe album, which is done right now, my solo album, that series and maybe something else within the course of the next year. I’m making up for the time I sat out the past two years.
On new Bad Meets Evil material:
The Bad Meets Evil stuff we look forward to doing it. I’ve gotta be in Detriot long enough and he has to be free then we just kind of have to be hanging out to do it because that’s how we did the last one. I had some songs he liked that he rapped on and he had some songs I liked. We just put them all together and did some more stuff and put the album out. When you’re friends with somebody who has their own label and they can do whatever they want to do that’s how it goes. It’s always a possibility. I haven’t spoken with him about that lately but I am supposed be going to see him soon and play him some music. I have a lot of music that he hasn’t heard so we just gotta kind of get together and update each other on everything.
On getting Eminem on a DJ Premier beat:
Em is the type who’ll say “why didn’t you ask to get me on this?” I don’t want to bother him. I try not to abuse friendships and make him feel like he has to rap on shit just because I’m doing it. That’s why I didn’t ask him to be on the first PRhyme album. Maybe the second one. That’s all I’m hearing. Everyone wants to hear him on a DJ Premier track so that’s definitely possibility.
