Jeezy and T.I. tease fans with the possibility of an upcoming joint album.
For years the idea of a Jeezy/T.I. collaborative album has been just that–an idea.
Recently sitting down with MTV News backstage at Power 105.1′s Powerhouse concert, the two southern rap superstars may be closer to putting out a collabo project than ever before.
“We’ve been talking about it for years, but we finally putting the execution part of it in the works,” Tip said when asked about the possibility of working on an album with Jeezy. “We already have probably about six, seven records... It don’t take us long to put it together. It’s just a matter of actually finding the time to promote it, market it, and actually get it done.”
Both Jeezy and T.I. have released albums within the last few months; T.I. with Paperwork and Jeezy with Seen It All. Each were featured on one another's LPs.
“Usually, when we talking about it, either he’s working on finishing his album or I’m working on finishing mine," the Grand Hustle headman said. "This is like one of the first times that we both putting our albums out around the same time. I’m done with my process, he’s done with his process, now we can collectively come together and do something together.”
Jeezy also semi-confirmed that the two had plans on releasing something together.
“Keep your eyes and your ears open,” he said. “That’s my brother from another right there. We stay in our bag, so, you know, I would just stay focused if I was you.”
Back in early 2012, T.I. said that he and Jeezy already had a few records "In the can." The collaboration stalled due to both having solo work they were working on at the time.

those features serve their purpose on the album and kendrick new shit ain't got nothin' on the king's new album. that I song sounds like it was made for a country time lemonade commercial.

1. this album is not coming out this or next year, or possibly ever, maybe in a few years time we'll hear a couple tracks that may leak that were "intended for the project"
2. a Jeezy/Gucci mixtape would be more exciting and make more noise in the streets
