After today's announcement that he'll be headlining HOT 97's Summer Jam 2015, Kendrick Lamar sat down with the station's morning team for his first Q&A since releasing his critically acclaimed sophomore effort, To Pimp a Butterfly.
The Compton kid got directly into explaining what the butterfly in the storyline represents, the 2Pac interview, and his thoughts on the reception of the project. Kendrick also revealed how he almost got Prince on the LP.
Dot also opened up on the long-awaited rumored collaboration project with J. Cole which he reveals is still in the works and are looking to release.
