I'm glad Britain and the US (fuck Aussies) has won, but this war was always, and is still, a joke. Iraq had zero weapons of mass destruction, no doubt anthrax or something will be found from somewhere, but as Hans Blix said, the inspections were going very well and they needed more time. Hopefully what all the opposition to this war has done is to stop Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Cheney and Perle from carrying out any more invasions. I wonder what Iraq will be like in 10 years time, whether the allies will carry out their duties of actually stabilising the country, because Afghanistan has been left to rot. Well, lets hope for a Bush defeat in 2004, because truly, he is one of the worst Presidents ever, he has fucked up domestically. You need to read the book 1984 and see what it says about "Perpetual war" and what it does for nations.

Yea I love that guy. He comes out with the craziest shit, like "Yes yes we slaughtered all the Americans and we're on the verge of winning. None of our troops have died and we are the best fighters in the world. One soldier blew up 10 tanks with one pistol. We have nothing to be worried out, the US hasn't even entered Iraq yet".
Apparently he was kicked off the cabinet by Saddam, because he couldn't make a late night meeting on time.

If the Democrats keep their mouths closed about foreign policy, and point out the state of the economy, corporate fraud, cuts to welfare and Bush's tax cuts to the richest they have an excellent opportunity. Remember that it is very rare that Presidents are elected on the basis of their foreign policy - just ask Bush sr.

2) Find Weapons of Mass Destruction
and its pretty easy to win a war against a country that has no weapons or decent military (due to UN sanctions imposed after the Gulf War, which apparently weren't working? hmm), its not really a great feat is it.

as far as bush goes...his favorable rating is at like in the mid 60's in is gonna go up with such a quick and decisive victory...there is no real democrat that could pose a threat...kerry, gore??? plus the economy is finally starting to pick up and when election time comes around the economy will be on an upswing.(stock market is picking up)...and hey we'll have cheaper gas prices too ;D

The reason for this is, the democrats have all destroyed any and all credibility they have with the american public. 75% of americans approve of George Bush right now, and the democrats have aligned themselves with the direct opposite of that. Kerry is doing things like calling for a 'regime change' in america, Gore won't run again, and the only hope they have is Edwards. A democrat won't be elected, because of the poor decisions their party leaders have made in recent months. It's a shame.

I saw the videos of the happy iraqi people & I can tell you they dont show everything. They showed the poor Baghdad people who didnt got anything to lose & which of their houses were not wrecked. honestly, ive never voted in any type of elections. Presidential elections IMO are bullshit regardless. My state is probably gonna be a democratic state always. And with the electoral college bullshit...one vote, really doesnt equal one vote. But, this might be the first election i actually decide to vote in...just to put in my vote, to get this idiot out of office. And i think youll see a LOT of people who typically DONT vote...vote, for that reason as well. He'll only get us involved in ANOTHER war, for no reason whatsoever, and cause more Americans, and civilians in other countries to die. A lot of people realize this. Alot of those backing him now, are blind. Some are true 'backers' of Bush...but alot are backing, for the simple reason that...its easy to now. Hype over the war is a muthafucka. 3. usa demanted/ordered the talibans (the current rulers of afghanistan) to hand over bin laden, or else.......
4. the talibans told usa to show proof before any eventual capture of bin laden.
5. usa responded with bombing afghanistan, claiming that they wanna "release" their people from opression and to kill bin laden.
now lets see.... if the talibans handed over bin ladn, usa wouldnt care about the population's suffering...
the talibans didnt start a shit.... usa did.... after being attacked by a terrorist organization... but the fact remain, usa started the war

That's why religion is different from everything else, you choose what you want to believe in. If you want you can make up your own beliefs and believe them. I for instance do believe in Islam. Yes, I was born into it, but I don't see anything wrong with my religion and I agree with it. Muslims actually believe in all the holy books, the Torah, Bible, Quran, and 2 other heavenly texts. The one thing that distinguishes us from the rest is the fact that believe in Mohammed. We basically included Jewish and Christian beliefs in our religion with some modification. We do believe in all the same prophets, the Apocalypse, etc. So before you make your ignorant remarks educate yourself. Terrorism doesn't reflect back on Islam. Just because muslims happen to be the ones doing it doesnt mean our religion teaches that. Yes, I am aware that some of these people are being brainwashed into thinking that this is what God wants them to do, but its exactly that....THEY'RE BEING BRAINWASHED. So if they are, then it would mean that in reality our religion doesn't teach that. These are mostly either fanatics and/or desperate people who feel like they have nothing else left to live for because they were forced into conditions they would have loved to avoid. If your family was starving, your land was taken away, your family members were killed, and some guy told you that he would financially support your family for killing the people who are responsible and says that God wants you to do this, would you do it? Well these people did. No, I dont agree with their actions, in fact I think they're absurd and wrong. WHAT MY POINT IS THAT YOU NEED TO WATCH WHAT YOU SAY BECAUSE IT SHOWS YOUR IGNORANCE AND LOW INTELLECTUAL CAPACITY. EDUCATE YOURSELF.

that iraqi information minister is a trip... he was still claimin americans were being destroyed when they could be seen from the spot he was saying it advancing in tanks n shit. even since before this started he's not even been connected to the central power anymore, up until 2 years ago he used to be their foreign minister but got booted from the cabinet coz he fell out with one of the big guys sons... heh
