I was watching the Lakers and Blazers yesterday and during a commercail break a Sprite ad come on featuring Kobe Bryant but the beat sounded like a Dre beat (it was tight) and I thought I heard Rakim saying "the time is now, the time is now. Did anyone else see this or have I been waiting on Rakim so long that its messing with my head.

I don't hear no "the time is now" in it.....the beat is bangin though. I do hear a lil "YO" in there a few times. but it sounds all gritty like it was the DOC sayin it. hmmm this might not even be the same one though. hhhmmm

That sounds like the one but its cuts off before the end. Thats when I thought I heard Rakim. Maybe not.

i dont think that is a dre beat even though it is hot....and i think you may have just been imagining rakim's voice....but in the end it was just kobe bryant talking............damn you got my hopes up for nada.....it's cool though...

no i feel you on what you were saying...but after everyone found a link to it ppl on here started tripping...but i got no problem with you....sorry if i offended you as no offense was intended..........i feel you on your post...i just got a problem with everyone else that came after you and started getting it out of hand........but it is all good.....one.

dre has a deal with coors , so i'm pretty sure it'd violate his contract to do something with sprite

^ That's true, but they are also two different types of drinks... one is just soda, the other is alcohol. That could be the only problem...
But the only thing I've heard/seen on tv with dre is the Coors commercial...
