From a fan standpoint. Snoop has tried time and time again to prop up his homie's from the hood and give them a spotlight to shine through music. let us not forget 2000-2004, all the chuuch mixtapes, eastsidaz, features, shout outs, and who knows what kind of business opportunities he has brought to the table for these guys. Let us not forget that Snoop Dogg is a multi millionaire who is a businessman first. It reminds me of the way Scarface put it in a recent interview talking about J. Prince. he basically said business is business. Family is family. I would venture to say that most of the LB alumni would have never gotten a chance to shine had it not been for Snoop. Most of the LB 20's Snoop took on tour prolly would have never ventured beyond Las Vegas if it hadn't been for Snoop. I would go as far to ASSUME that he put money in their pockets, enabled them to get the bombest pussy around, and have some of the most fun they ever had in their lives.
I imagine through bad business, or whatever there is some bad blood. Maybe Snoop fucked some of them over, and maybe some of them fucked him over or did not get what they felt like they were ENTITLED to.

It's not a secret that Snoop have done so much for the community and even the gangs, he has given opportunities to rappers from his set and other sets!

Snoop Youth Football League, is doing way more than most celebs out there, the kind of impact that is having on kids that might probably end up on a different route is amazing.

I think you're missing the point. In the video they said that Snoop agreed to pay and didn't. Snoop never addressed the core issues which they brought up which is him keeping his word on a few things. You're right though, most vatos don't pay for the funeral. Nine times out of ten it's because they can't. Now, imagine someone saying that they will pay for funeral and then they don't. If that's true then have to admit that's messed up.
